ACB has said that players can ask the umpires to move spidercam.

So when that highball went up. Smith should have looked up and then proceeded to walk to the umpire and asked for the camera to be moved, then once it was moved, he could walk back to his place in the field and attempt the catch.

Seems legit.

What a stupid f**king statement from the ACB!

Steve Smith didn't have to move at all for that catch so even if it did hit spider cam it made no difference,Smith literally did not have to move, its not like he had to change course abruptly or had to dive as a result of it hitting spider cam.

Steve Smith's fault the catch was dropped and nobody else's.

It's hard when you're looking right into the sun on a 30 degrees day.

Spider cam would have disrupted him even though I don't think it hit it.

I don't think Cowan will go to the Ashes or Voges unless we get terrible injuries.

Currently it is:

Warner
Rogers
Watson
Clarke
Smith
M.Marsh
Haddin

Standby batsmen:
S. Marsh
J.Burns

Standby WK:
M. Wade

fair enough

As long as no injuries hit. Rare we have all those guys all fit at once

Great to see Tony Abbott enjoying himself at the cricket whilst murderers and terrorists walk the streets.

Feel much safer now

I know Hayntrain is on his troll but Hazelwood is also 10 cms taller than Siddle which makes a difference to how the ball comes through at the batsman.

I feel the same when it's the PM I voted for and when it's not, why do they have to show up in the box and get in the way of a relaxing day of cricket.

They're scoring @ 2.3 you Sped... They're stonewalling.

That's an average run rate from not too long ago. They're both on the way to big scores. This isn't de villiers in Adelaide.

Just making an observation that Siddle got dropped because they wanted him to bowl faster for someone who is roughly the same pace, fair observation.

The ironing is delicious

he was way out of form as well.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Still, Hazelwood has done better than Siddle would have.
