I feel the same when it's the PM I voted for and when it's not, why do they have to show up in the box and get in the way of a relaxing day of cricket.



That's an average run rate from not too long ago. They're both on the way to big scores. This isn't de villiers in Adelaide.

Just making an observation that Siddle got dropped because they wanted him to bowl faster for someone who is roughly the same pace,fair observation.

It is when you ignore that Hazelwood is much much taller than Siddle. McGrath bowled at about that speed and used his height well. Same with Ambrose who was quick from his height.

Taller bowlers will always be able to bowl a bit slower than short bowlers.

Cowans first block of 5 Shield games have yielded 590 runs, 4 centuries at 65.55 ave. He continues this form in the next block of 5 shield games. He is on the tour to WI and the ashes.

Lyon is the sort of guy you'd keep on simply because there's no one else.

Every now and then he'll run through a line-up but there's too many days like today where he'll run in all day and do nothing.

I would like to see Haze bend his back a bit but he is young and learning. I guess that is why I was so critical of Siddle he was supposed to be a leader and he was just jogging in. Plus he has a really weird face. Stuff of nightmares.
