I'm waiting for thick skinned’s take on the App tracer

it’s a funny one .
Lots of people are very paranoid.
An Ap that can track where you’ve been.

ha

I hate to break the news to people but it’s already happening.

a cool podcast called “ The Lighthouse” talks about this very subject.
It’s the story about that Swedish backpacker that went missing in Byron Bay a couple of years ago.

His friends and family without the help of police managed to unlock his Facebook account by guessing his password.
They could also somehow ( can’t recall the exact way they did / maybe Facebook) follow his movements the night he went missing.
Using the map on his phone they could tell exactly where he walked and what speed he was traveling.
There was also surveillance camera footage in town that coincides with the data from his phone.
The search crew managed to work out if he was running away from something or just walking by the speed of his tracking.
It’s fascinating how much they could work out.
They literally followed his footsteps .
He did it in pitch darkness too.
He was crawling through mulga down at Tallows.

anyway the phone must have died and that’s all she wrote.
He was never seen again.

it was from The Australian- same mob who did teachers pet I think.

So if people think this ap is going to be big brother they might need to just leave the phone at home.

you can turn off all these map tracking functions on your phone but 99% of people wouldn’t know where to start.

Everyone already knows this. Not everyone agrees that it is an acceptable situation though.

He is back tracking, again.
I don't think the trust levels of the government would be high enough for the public to want to have a tracking app on their phone.Robodebit.
Slomo is a hypocrite, won't send his own kids to school.
It's up to the States to run the education system, I don't know what his agenda is.

What are you talking about? He was sending his kids before the holidays, then they were home schooled once face to face teaching stopped like just about everyone else in the shire. He’s said a billion times he’ll send them back once that starts up again and he wants it to happen soon.

I think txta is listening too much to Karen from Facebook.

If they don't trust the government, they don't have to have the app, it's not mandatory.
He stated publicly a day or so ago he wants his kids to get back into the classrooms, with face to face teaching.
Making a mountain out of an anti ScoMo molehill.

I've got scummo stuffed. I don't own a mobile phone thingy. Never have and hopefully never will. Does that mean I have to carry me lap top around with or do I just try and strap it to me leg.

And now Mr Potato Head (Dutton) has gone off the chase of all those black african gangs that were terrorising all of Victoria and is now threatening the whole of China with his crack special troop squad I don't think I will be venturing far from my tora bora cave.

Be critical on policy, but these blokes are so hoping he’ll fail they just flat out make shit up. Or believe any unsubstantiated crap that suits them.

they jump on social media and just rip into him for a bush fire from months ago when the subject of the article is about Coronavirus and the effects on schooling.

Now to answer Peter's nonsense you not only need to second guess the counter point he assigns to you but find out what Karen on Facebook is saying which apparently will be attributed to you as well ?

Btw Peter, I could leave phone at home when I'm on farm ,but dad is 93 and at home with medical problems,Son has breathing problems and hopefully now out of the temperature induced attacks he had 4 times last yr. and I do like to explain to people I might have missed that due to the two hail storms last year they may need to wait a month before this yrs crop payments start to flow. that's not to mention the calls about various farm and machinery problems that Taipan could no doubt tell you more about as he knows all about farming He's had HOLIDAYS and seen things on tv!

Oh wait Peter is ignoring me ! Silly me. But as he points out when under pressure he knows people here and is popular so I'm sure if he actually wants to understand different peoples point of view he only needs to ask.
