hCrichton has done quite well as an X Factor especially in last two GF's

He has,
Look at the left side in particular. Kikau attracts defenders, Even if the play involves cutting him out he still draws them in. Leaves room for others

He scored 9 tries, 10 assists.
Had 25 Total Try involvements. 3 clear of 2nd place for 2nd rowers.
Was 1st with 16 line break assists.
He had 42 offloads, Next best in the team was Luai with 21

That is even before you add how well Api went in the mix

Surely you could be positive just once? Try it

I guess you missed where I said we were going to win the comp last year?

Or the year before that? Even when Cleary did his shoulder, I was the only one that had no doubt we win the comp.

Superior roster, A luxury we don't have next year

Clearly I did. We lost two, and I repeat, two regular first graders, who could be replaced by the juniors. Remember Api and Kikau, were rookies too.

We both said it and we both agree next year is different.
I think we'll finish 4th at worst with a regular amount of injuries and suspensions. Lose Nathan for 10 games again and we'll be bottom of the 8

Api was the best hooker in the sport for the last 2 years. Harry Grant might surpass him this year though.
Hooker is vital to a teams success

We will have great defence, Strong kicking game, Make very few mistakes

That wins 75% of the games. So getting to the 8 is no issue, Getting through teams that do those same things well looks an issue.

Hopefully someone makes a huge jump, Or Tago getting moved or something

Zac Hosking and Preston Riki are my bolters, in the juniors I really like the info I’ve read on the kiwi kid Francis Manuleleua that we’ve signed, plays both union and league, kicks goals and has excellent leadership skills as he captained both the first XV for Kings College and his Junior rep warriors team

Won’t be confirmed officially as I think he’ll start in Flegg, maybe someone with links to the club can confirm

But found this on the channel 9 website

Premiers Penrith are close to adding two of the best young prospects in New Zealand to their ranks.

Francis Manuleleua , a utility back ranked the number one year 11 schoolboy in the country, is on the Panthers' radar, along with Warriors' back-up hooker Taniela Otukolo.

Manuleleua is an 18-year-old utility back who plays both five-eighth and centre for renowned Auckland football nursery Kings College.

He was chased by both league and rugby union scouts but is believed he opted for the Panthers after watching their demolition of Parramatta in the NRL grand final.

Tongan-born Otukolo is a 20-year-old hooker who has already played nine NRL games for the Warriors since debuting in 2021.

He is being looked at by Penrith as an extra back-up for Mitch Kenny and rookie Soni Luke following the loss of star hooker Api Koroisau to the Wests Tigers.

To date, the Panthers have signed just one 'name' player - back-rower Luke Garner from Wests Tigers.

But rival clubs have been quick to swoop on the 2021-22 grand final winners with Koroisau, Viliame Kikau (Bulldogs), Isaiya Katoa (Dolphins), Robert Jennings (Dolphins), J'maine Hopgood (Eels) and Sean O'Sullivan (Dolphins) all leaving.
