Why is everybody so in praise of dopey Cronulla?? Look at their marshmallow schedule, I mean, seriously their last 8 or so games were against... Balmain, Canterbury, Newcastle, Warriors, Give-Up Manly who had already QUIT, St George. Who gave them such a fairy floss schedule?? Meanwhile we played against Bellamy, Parramatta, at Up Up Malaka, Easts twice, NQ and Go "Riff!!

Yet we did that torrid schedule proud. And we are the only squad to sink Easts for the past 2.5 months, despite Easts' bash brothers steamrolling everyone put before them. Hammering them in fact.

I will say it now: Cronulla is overrated, their "form" greatly conflated by a marshmallow schedule. They will win nothing.
Conversely, we have a true contender capable of anything IF the application and focus is there i.e minmise the turnovers and simple unforced errors such as wrongful kicks and sloppy passes picked up and scored upon.

We have lost 7 of our last 9 or 10 games under Atkins. I will never be confident when we have him officiating our games as we have the worst record out of any team in the whole NRL. It is much the same with Gee too our record is awful and he’s the guy in the bunker.

The boys just need to dig deep defend like their lives depend on it and not let the bad calls disrupt us.

Cameron Smith has tipped us to win. He says the Sharks will lose a lot of stamina at the back end of the match and that we will roll over them with our attack.

From Fox Sports,

LEGENDS SUPPORT SOUTHS’ FINALS CHARGE

South Sydney champion Sam Burgess was at Redfern on Wednesday where the 2014 Clive Churchill Medallist spent time with Rabbitohs patriarch George Piggins in the stands at Redfern.

Piggins bleeds red and green as much as any player who’s ever worn the jersey and his close mates still like to get him out to the Bunnies spiritual home as often as possible.

Latrell Mitchell, Cody Walker, Tom Burgess and a host of other South Sydney stars were only too happy to come over and say g’day to George.

Piggins would have loved the way the Rabbitohs took the game up to their arch-enemy foundation rivals the Roosters in the opening week of the finals.

Clive Churchill medallist Burgess was in Coffs Harbour for the Bunnies showdown against arch-rivals the Roosters last Sunday but will be attending Saturday night’s elimination final against Cronulla.
