Thanks. Grade 2 closer to G1 by the sounds of it. 3 weeks out is pretty fast recovery. Merrin did his medial and was out for what 6-8 weeks, which is pretty common for a G2.

Wonder why ppl are hoping for an outside chance of him playing this Sat?

I wouldn't recommend him playing on it if there is any hint of tear still present. He could probably be strapped, needled and play no worries and be a world beater even with a small tear (1-2mm).

But the downside is in all likelihood it will swell and feel like he has sand in his knee joint all week and he will be no chance of playing the next weekend. Or worst case, he suffers a G3 (complete rupture).
