From what I hear Luai can play fullback. They should just suck it up and put him there. We are suppose to be a development club and the kid sounds like a talent. That leaves Whare and Blake free for whatever.

Surely you jest.

No unfortunately.

May 13 H/ups 131 metres
Cleary 14 h/ups 102 metres

Tamou 11 h/ups 84 metres

RCG 12 H/ups 101 metres

Merrin 10 H/ups 76 metres

One thing we should consider looking at those stats is.
When Tamou, RCG and Merrin were on the field in the first half Manly had a lot more possession. We had to do more tackling. (or lack of) The time those 3 came back on for a 2nd stint we had more ball.
Manly had 99 runs to our 71 inn the first half. Runs evened out in the 2nd half 80 to 74 to them. But our pack was dominated nonetheless.

Do we know whether Dylan Edwards is likely to play?

If we run out with the same team as last week (which would make no sense) I fully expect us to lose. If Edwards doesn't play, then we really should put Whare back in the centres with Blake on the wing and DWZ at full back.

RCG also needs to start off the bench.

When we play flat the halves just don't have time to mo e the ball so they have to run. Half Mays runs came because the defence was jamming him and he had no choice.

Good points. Manly's line speed the other night was phenomenal.

Did a weeks work experience at Big League with Blokker - nice guy and he has contacts at the club so wouldn't surprise me if he has the inside word.

And more than likely he has read this forum where posters have already posted this.

Looks the goods but his defense is suspect. If he could bulk up in the off season and work on his tackling would make the transition to first grade quite well

I hope 100% we pick Luai.

If those Manly grubs so much as to think to come up quick again, f***ing BANG.He will step right past them and break their ankles...every...single...time.
