So is there any talk around the place that Mary's job is on the line, or do we need to score less than a try a game before that happens?

He does seem to have friends in the press. His name is never mentioned in the same breath as some other coaches when talk of coaches under pressure surfaces.:?

PS.
Just watching the Jillaroos game & they have passed the ball more in the 1st 10 mins with players in motion more than the dragons have done all year.

Our coach and players need to let this sink in!!

Some exceptions, as in Nighty, who always gives 100%.

Read the Teles interview with Ray Price... page 89 sports section.

Ray Price says.... 'People may think this is sour grapes, its not.

Today there is no loyalty to the club or to your mate'.

Yes spot on!

He also says.... 'I hated losing anything, even playing in the Perth legends game few years ago, one of our guys drank 9 bottles of champagne two days before the game, we got beat.

I went up to him and pulled him up, I told him..... 'I have not come over here to waste my time, I have come here to WIN'!

If only more players thought like Price did and still does.... instead of laughing, talking after games to players from the other team, even after losing by 40.

It irks me....yeah, be a good loser...shake hands....
but laughing, and chatting to the opposition after getting wholloped!!

Bromances!!

Irks me no end!

Price was answering what drove him to be the best.

He said....I could not tolerate losing anything!!

Go suck on that for a while Dragons.

Last year it was all about defence and it worked but for this year as some of our experts here the other teams have woken up our defence pattern
That game with the warriors in my opinion puts Mary on the plank next game he screws up on selections it's time he was fed to the Sharks
I have been a die hard supporter for 50 years and to watch the way the club has gone is terrible to watch
Players used to want to play for the dragons for less money and it was always said the big red V was to hide our the blood players
Mary lost all credence with that Warrior game I feel that will come back and bite us I was thinking before the game that saints would make a dent in the for and against
Do we want to wait another year with Mary, my answer is no his time at the club has not enhanced our team and its gonna be years to rebuild the team to what it was and what it should be
I'm not getting ang younger and want to a premiership before I go
Sorry for the rant I'm just pissed off with Mary's coaching

Yes sack Mary

Take Widdop and Marshall with him

Nine points a game is a fact.

You know most of the players in our NRL squad would probably be considered to be excellent value under a more experienced and clever coaching staff. I don't think it is the players, I'm sure it is the coaching staff.

It worked up till round 10 of last year and there's been a steady decline since.

Disagree possm.
Don't get me wrong, the coaching staff have a lot to answer for and likely have something to do with our inept recruitment but on paper, we are a 12-16 team. Were last year as well and to make the 8 required a colossus effort. The roster hasn't improved this year if you factor in Masoe's injury. I.e. Packer, Mann, Lafai and Lui < Merrin

Order of priorities
1. New Recruitment Manager
2. New owner
3. New half
4. New hooker
5. New coach
6. New fast centre
7. New left edge 2nd rower

Interested to see what happens with the new board. You may see some big movements in staff and player retention with new blood in charge especially with more money to spend. Geez I hope it does not drag to long in the off season and Saints have time to prepare for 2017 if this season is a write-off.

If Cutters end up killing it and winning the comp don't be surprised if Demitriou gets the gig.
