Slater or Hayne

The fact that hayne couldn't beat nuffy's in the past four or five years to SOO fullback then that tells you how good he is (not very)

Hayne is in a purple patch right now, when he can be as consistent as slater has been over the past 8 or 9 years then you can start comparing him.

I still think Inglis is the best player in the game right now and the best fullback.

Derp,Hayne has been playing SOO for 8 years, you don't play SOO for 8 consecutive years if you're not consistent

So team form now = individual form.

Top shelf effort. Considering you follow Scumnulla it actually makes a bit more sense.

You said current form. ( the last month )
Warriors beat them about 42 nil.
Rabbits also clobbered them

So
Slater is only good because of his team mates -
Whereas Hayne is only bad because of his team mates?
When Hayne plays for Australia what position does he play?
Who plays fullback?

At least JH has never been relegated to the bench by a hopeless AFL player at SOO level.

Hayne hasn't been always selected at fullback because of his great ability to play anywhere from 2-5. If he wasn't so good at those positions, he would of easily been kept at fullback. Like Joey with his some of his non-selections at halfback

No, but he was relegated to the wing by Kurt Gidley which is alot worse.

 how is it his fault the selectors were geniused???

as above the"immortal" was hooker at times, selectors make decisions, nothing more

Slater. And it isnt even close, as im sure has been said a million times already, hes a far more consistently great performer than Hayne who at his best is fantastic, but not at his best consistently.

Anyone who would pick Slater over Hayne in their team today must have Smith, Cronk, and Roberts helping out.

If we were being honest, then either Hayne or Slater would be at most clubs

They are great in different ways, a silly argument really, they do a great job in the structure they have end of story

Hayne's as elusive a runner as I've ever seen, and a superb last line defender as well as we saw in the Origin. But a playmaker he isn't. If he were he'd have been put in the halves years ago.

So while Hayne is going to get you a few tries against flabbergasted defences that hold off him, the playmaking fullbacks will get your entire team moving.

Honestly I wouldn't swap him for Moylan, especially at the price he would command.

Im sorry, but this is possibly one of the stupidest thing I have ever read.
