Can't wait for that Channel 9 opening montage when the Rooster play in the first game of the season next year

SBW will actually pre-record calling the whole game; so Rabs, Gussy, Freddy and Joey can beat off for the whole of the game.

Possibly. He's got a RWC medal, a SuperRugby championship, 4N championship, 2 NRL championships. An olympic medal might be a goal of his.

You union types continue to wank over this Olympic medal crap.

I'm wanking?

Just pointing out it could be one of his goals considering he's won everything in both games. Stop thinking about me wanking. Pervert.

Playing rugby on cold wet evenings in Hamilton probably looked a lot less appealing when he can earn a lot more on this side of the Tasman playing a code he grew up with.

Hmmm, hang out in places like this when not playing, or hang out in Hamilton?

Hamilton's definitely not a bad place, I quite like it actually, but it isn't as big a draw card as the coastline of the Eastern Suburbs, especially when there's good money coming along with it.

Out there question but what is SBW's standing under the State of Origin qualification rules. I know he fails the new rules but he has previously met the old rules. He has an Australian grand mother so he could change his alliegence to Australia if he wanted to. Origin may be his next goal

No, No, No, No, No - that sir, is out of the equation.

If a NZer who has played league and union for his country suddenly is allowed to play State of Origin - then the actually game (sport) is not real but just a TV program.

Note carefully, the Roosters statement says SBW has "pledged his committment" to play with the Roosters in 2014, so on past form (e.g. ditching the dogs mid-season, Kiwis backflip), how solid is that committment really. If he is committed he would sign a legally binding contract now. Why would he wait?

But it isn't out of the equation provided he is eligible for State of Origin because he is eligible to play for Australia after this World Cup.

By the way Tonie Carroll, Nathan Fien and Brad Thorn have all represented NZ in either League or Union and played State of Origin

Well, he did honour his "hand shake" deal with Nick Politis in the first place if I recall.
