Yeah I went to that to get a couple of soft drinks. Was back in 3 minutes. It is were the coffee stand use to be last year, the coffee stand is still thre but there is beer and soft drinks and stuff.

I was going to get a Skim Hot Chocolate, but the a lady walked up to them and started complaining about thing swimming around in her Hot Chocolate and I thought I would give that a miss for the night and take a hit with the extra carbs in a soft drink.

The benefit of the extra protein in the hot chocolate would have far outweighed the liability of carbs of the soft drink .

I'm a practical guy.

I was thinking of hole punching the ticket so I can use the lanyard

BTW - is it just me or did nobody else get anything to hold the ticket, or just the neck piece of the lanyard

Are you f**king whingers still at it?? ;-)

Hells I find it strange that you got asked for your tickets. Isn't the Cronin stand separated from the terrace?? If so, why would you need proof.

I will say when I walked in on the Western side that once you walked through the Terrace gates the internal gate between the Grand Stand and Terrace was open. Lock the gate as it has been for the last x amount of years and you dont have a problem! I swear that Stadium takes one step forward and 10 steps back!

interesting conspiracy ... wouldn't surprise me if there was some sort of agenda, especially after the attempt to move the game

As John Mcenroe used to say..."You cannot be serious".
Maybe Jacqueline Kennedy did kill JFK afterall.

Do you really think DF would have thought to himself..."Right, we'll teach them for trying to move the game...lets check everyones tickets. We'll focus on the people who have their hands full. That will learn them. Now how do I convince the rest of the trust board members to go along with my idea. Afterall, I'm just a single member of the board. I need my colleagues help".

I understand that a lot of people here have zero respect for the guy, but c'mon, atleast give him some credit. Fitzy can't be the scapegoat for everything....

I am unsure if this was mentioned before but the gates between the Cronin Stand and terraces (downstairs) upon entering the ground were open at start of the game, this would stop people going from Terraces to Stands.

You know the first thing they said at 5:10 when the gates should be open was "Don't yell at me, it is the Stadium Trust that sets the rules, sorry"

The first thing i thought of was that Denis must be trying his hardest to make the new board look bad as ultimately the average fan would blame the Eels for anything that the Stadium Trust does!!

Then i get up the stairs and get asked for a ticket by a very rude lady! Then my friend came and she asked so he presented and the lady said "Gee, they've forgotten already" as if to say we should be used to this garbage!!!!! Then i watched her for about 20 minutes bitching and moaning when people questioned why they were being checked and again the line "Don't yell at me, it is the Stadium Trust that sets the rules, sorry" came out.....

I know it would be unpopular to move to Homebush but quite frankly i would love to know what the Stadium Trust actually think they are going to do if the PARRAMATTA EELS no longer use PARRAMATTA STADIUM in it's ageing and less and less appealing state!

Again, another board with bull$hit agenda's and self interest instead of what is actually logical.......

I would rather go to Homebush and teach those morons a lesson!

Don't let logic get in the way of a good conspiracy theory.

well I don't specifically think its all fitzy - but he could have a say in things .... I don't know how much input the board of the trust have in the operations

why would they open those gates when the entire point of them is to separate the entries? .... why do it now when it wasn't done before? .... its weird

Who else thought the Electronic Advertising on the Eastern side was way too bright and distracted you from the game.

It goes from preety much the 20 metre line to the other 20 metre line.

And changes every 4-5 seconds with really bright white ads that takes too much focus off the game and can even effect your vision of the ball if and players if you are low enough in the western terrace

So can anything be done about the lack of service?

I was in Eastern Terrace and got up in second half after Parra scored a try and took 3-4 minutes to get my food and the only issue in line was customers not being alert as the staff was calling them down. Anyone that has been to any sport and especially when crowd is over 10,000 that if you try to get food prior to kick off and half time there is a waiting period. I recommend to try during a stoppage in play.
