News.com just posted a big potential spoiler on their site. I'd avoid reading it because it will ruin the movie if true. I wish I hadn't read it.

I don't know why anyone would want to know.
Either you are going to see it, in which case you would want to not know what happens yet...or you aren't going to see it, in which case you don't care.
Still, I bet they got about a billion hits to their website this morning because of that story.

Does it say where the source comes from? There have been a lot of rumours about this movie, most of which probably won't be true.

The source was makingstarwars.net which they say is "well regarded".

Yeah I don't understand why so-called "fans" go out to try and ruin the movie for themselves and everybody else.

If it is what I think it is, then I am not surprised if it is true.

Harrison Ford felt Han Solo had no story respnsibilities and suggested that he be killed off in Return of The Jedi.

Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote Empire and Jedi (not to metion Raiders of The Lost Ark) also felt that someone had to go but Lucas vetoed it. IIRC there was a draft of the script of Jedi where Lando and the Millenium Falcon are engulfed in flames escaping the Death Star Super structure.

But now that Lucas is gone Kasdan and Ford might just get what they wanted 30-some years ago

Yeah I'm gonna try as hard as I can to find out as little information as I can about this movie before watching it on the big screen! I was even hesitant to watch the teaser trailer on my computer, I much prefer catching trailers at the cinema, just feels right!

I am trying not to get too psyched about this movie, but I cannot help myself.

Staying away from any reports or such about the movie as I don't want it spoiled. I read the books and got the info before the first three movies came out and as a result the movies were even more disappointing than they would have been if I had've stayed away from the literature and press.

And the fact that a lot of trailers tend to have spoilers in them. Pisses me right off that does.

I'm about to start Star Wars: Rebels which apparently features the Max Von Sydow character from The Force Awakens.

Has anybody given it a watch yet and is it any good? I saw The Clone Wars movie but not the series. Think Rebels will be better based on what limited CW I have seen.

The CW series was really good, I would recommend it. It's a lot more "adult" than you would think, lightsabre's through guys chests etc. Of course there is kiddie stuff to it, but its not that bad (just avoid the episodes with the Anakins young girl padawan)

I've watched about four episodes of Rebels, its a bit more "Disneyfied" than CW so Im not liking it as much.

Han saying "Chewie, were home".

That could be the whole trailer and I would watch it on that alone.

I'm really pumped for this, but I do remember thinking the trailer for the Phantom Menace was the greatest thing ever. (It even made the Gungan's look cool!)
