its a secondary league that we are just doing for fun... there's a couple of newbies in there... but there's also a few big gun players in there... our main league ended up the highest in NZ last season.... so it would be a good little option if you wanted to see how you squared up against some top dudes...

Thoughts on my squad? Once I see team lists tomorrow I will make a few minor changes, but generally only to what I view as cash cows. I am taking the gamble that Corey Parker gets a little less game time and will drop a bit cash wise. Though I will be cashing in by about round 4-5 to pick him up once the opportunity arises.

Get rid of Gordon (Coote is fullback apparently), replace him with Kevin Gordon and spend the extra cash on a Gallen or Parker. I would have Prince over Mullen, and there are some better 87k starters you could play if u need more coin.

Too much money spent in the backs, not enough in the forwards. You really need to get 4 forwards on the bench as they should consistently score 50+. Not to mention you need all your players named, or at least injured and expected to walk straight back into the lineup, so Sezer has to go, cause if he couldn't get a starting spot given who is in front of him, then I think he will struggle to force his way in until at least week 6.

James Taumalolo won't be a cash cow until Origin time. So that's when you pick him up. I suspect he will be stuck on the bench for quite some time, especially with Tariq Sims still to come back into the lineup, the minutes just won't be there.
