The independent model wasn't the issue, in the end they just priced themselves out of the market. Rolling is a solid $15 RRP wine at $18, and Climbing is a good $20 wine at $23 RRP, with the market unwilling to pay that for the product. When it is on promo anywhere it motors. McWilliam's had the opposite issue; great wine, but they butchered their prices til they sacrificed margin. Sad, really...
Good mate, enjoying it. Nowhere near as much coffee in it though. Also, who knew there were so many ways to deep fry a bloody potato!
