My mates sister was getting smacked around by her boyfriend and managed to keep it quiet for months. When my mate found out he rang around and gathered 7 of us to hunt the prick down. He used to jog around his neighbourhood at night so we snatched him up in a van Rio style and drove him down to his footy club, kicked the shit out of him, stripped him naked, filled a condom with mayo and used a piece of conduit to insert it up his clacker then tied him to the goal posts with zip ties and left him there.

TBH I was shitting myself afterwards because he could have easily called the cops and had us all up on assault charges but I guess the embarrassment of the greenkeeper finding him in such a compromising position kept him from doing it.

I heard he left town not long afterwards and took a job over in WA

My friends husband (the one that took me to hospital) nearly did something very similar but was stopped by other friends. Still to this day if hes sees my ex he threatens him.

I wish I'd press charges, but at the time I still loved him. But if I had my time again I'd press charges and f**k up his life. Cos he's f**ked up mine.

I already had low self esteem. Well he made sure what little I had is gone. I mean if someone that tells you that they love you every day can split your lip for saying you were too tired to go out, what kind of love do you deserve?

And a big bullshit to anyone who says exercise releases positive endorphins. Never feel positive after any exercise, just rat shit tired and cranky.

I'd say turn the tempo down a little. Is it just running or other shit too.

Start my new job on Monday.

Depending on the contract i work at i can be earning anywhere between $27 to $41 per hour.

Interval training today. 10 x 100m sprints with active recovery. Also went to the gym this morning and an hour walk around Oatley West.

This is just my opinion but maybe do the sprints at 1/2 or even 3/4 pace. Especially if you haven't trained in awhile.

Then as your body adjusts to the training then up the pace.

Sprints are brutal.

At SG Ball training for Norths we had to do 5 x 400m sprints, 10 x 200m sprints then 15 x 100m sprints. With a 30 sec rest, but the rest would start after a certain time, so if you finished 10s before the time allotted you got a 40s break, and the same the other way, finish 10s slower then the time given only had a 20s break.

Then after that we had to do a beep test. f**king merkins.

I used to sprint for 10km's at a time back when I was the next Matt Gidley playing for the Souths Harold Matthews team

As a former fatty I can attest to theory that it takes a good 2 weeks before the excercise bug really kicks in. It takes a while for your body to break the old s**tty habits that have been ingrained into you for years of poor nutrition and exercise.

Just got to put your head down and get through it.

I've been both fit and fat (had more fun fat tbh), and I'm just one of those guys who gets no positive feelings out of exercise. I'll have to drag my lazy arse out of bed every day for the rest of my life.

My Missus had an ex who used to beat her up. If I ever meet that f**ker he'll be dead and I'll end up in prison. We ran into him at a football game once. The missus froze and looked like she'd seen a ghost. By the time I managed to find out why she had suddenly gone weird on me, the douche bag had seen us and bolted. He literally ran full tilt to get away. Talks tough but the one time he could have jumped me he ran like a scalded cat. Not afraid to hit the Women but he won't come anywhere near me.

I'm told this is quite typical of Women beaters. They only pick fights they know they can win. Notorious cowards.


An ex of mine, who is my best friend, used to get hit by her BF. I knew nothing about it until one day he threw her off a balcony, broke her arm and some ribs. She didn't tell me what happened at first but when she did I drove to Adelaide to see her. He tried to get into her place but he didn't expect me there. He didn't have anywhere to run. Scum, total scum
