I think lack of sleep has been a factor.I wonder if they are getting enough sleep, eating right, staying off the booze, etc. They are not there to party.

They aren't though, their reactions to silver and bronze make us Aussies look like brats.the yanks just have the killer instinct which means they are great under pressure. many of our athletes seem happy with silver or bronze (which is a great achievement) but it's compared to yanks who are disappointed if they are not number 1
