I can see how you got your 57,500 posts El Dickhead. No doubt there are at least 57,000 that are as useless as that last post.

No, it would have been 7 (40% x 7 = 2.8, considering the 7 weeks would be 725 points or so that would bump it up to 10). 4 weeks does not become 10 with 40% loading.
My understanding is this:

Grade 4 Dangerous throw: base penalty 725 demerits (7 matches)
Assume no prevoius charges: no loading
Guilty plea: 25% reduction in demerits (roughly 180 points)

Result: 545 demerits (5 matches).

So if he had no loading, he would have got 5 matches, which really does sound about right in my opinion.

What I don't understand is he had 2 prior high tackle charges. 125 points each. He was never suspended (125 x 2 - 25% = 188 points). Which would be 1 week and 88 carryover points. Why was he never suspended?

He realistically should be suspended for 12 weeks and be forced to help out at a paraplegic and quadraegic care facility everyday for the duration to open his eyes to the possible outcome of his reckless actions.

This could be applied to every player who drops another player head first (irrespective of whether the head is the first point of contact with the ground).

he was http://www.nrl.com/tony-williams-facing-10-weeks-on-sidelines/tabid/10874/newsid/66404/default.aspx

Williams was charged in the 2011 Preliminary Final against the Broncos with a grade 2 careless high tackle on Bronco Jharal Yow Yeh and then received a one-match ban during the Four Nations tournament in England for a high tackle on England’s Ben Westwood.

It makes sense though. What if a player gets a 3 match suspension but then never plays another rep match but goes on to play another 150 NRL games? Hardly seems fair that they never serve the suspension.

No, I think Glenn is 2-3 weeks away. Matai is as well but Dean Whare had a great game against the gummies so no dramas there. Will be good to see Buhrer get some more game time, he was very good when he came on on Monday night.
