Take a bow Damian Irvine.

Absolute legend.

Not only has he saved the Club from oblivion but he has secured it's future and set it up to be a one of the top tier Clubs in the future.

To all the farkwits like T.K, Fittler, Sydney Morning Herald etc. who have deathrided the Club and continually pushed for it to be merged/relocated get that up ya!

To all the people who slated Damian Irvine's appointment at the Club and made all sorts of snide remarks about him I hope your humble pie tastes like shyte.

Particularly that tosser Frenzy who said Damian Irvine would be the deathnell of the Club and said he wouldn't support the Club in any way financially until he was out of the joint. What was his pet name for him? Elmer Fudd. That's right. Well Damian got the last laugh on him by getting the job done as he said he would. He has sacrificed a shyte load for the Club and every Sharks fan is indebted to him forever.

Congratulations Sharkies! Great to hear about the development gaining final state government approval. You blokes would have to be a good chance of winning the premiership too. Really starting to look like the year of the shark.

Great news ! My sincere gratitude to all those who helped make it possible ,for the mighty sharks to rise again! And I also believe the development will be great for the area even for non football fans.

Fourty five years of punching above their weight against the odds has ended somewhat. It feels weird. Flanno started it when he said after signing Lewis along the lines of I want 7 or 8 rep players at the Sharks. Why cant they run around like the others have done over the past 45 years.

GOOD MORNIN' EVERYONE!!!

Its a beautiful day.

It is Aus.....but not as beautiful as it could be.

Apparently the members voted @ the AGM that the Sharks board continue to not be paid anything for their efforts.

Despite a great windfall for the club from the TV rights deal (seeing players getting pay rises) & working countless hours to secure our club's long term future.

Most on here have heard that Damian Irvine is working another job besides his business to make ends meet. Don't expect him to be around forever because he can't keep taking the ball up, unrewarded.

Shame Sharks members, shame!

Damian Irvine must be kept running the show.

We have never had such a dedicated leader at the Club with so much relentless passion to see things come to fruition.

He must be financially rewarded because there is a shtye load of work to do still and he certainly has everyone's respect and trust to exceute it.

He's one of the Club;'s besty assets right now.

f**k off coward. Show your face , then have an opinion. Share your opinion with somebody face to face. Right or wrong, Frenzy did to Damian Irvine. Makes him 100 times the human you are, you pharken squeeling little sheila.

Well the new NRL deal means clubs must have a CEO, marketing manager and junior development officer to qualify for certain grants. DI would have to be a candidate for CEO, he has the runs on the board.

Agree however, as President he is the figurehead of the board & that would be vacated, putting him in a position of employment, & leaving space on the elected board for the likes of Tynans, Capsis, etc etc.
Now more than ever , the club needs to be transparent to ensure the crippling effects of nepotism, jobs for the boys & croniism are kept well at bay.

Good on ya's.

Clears the debt, gives you an injection of cash again when your units sell and then provides a revenue stream that will contribute to your operations costs.

Is the Leagues Club still profitable? Will it be able add to the rent costs with a grant increase?

With the increase in club grants from the NRL, your club will be finally able to invest in some best practice methodologies around preparation.

How long before the first sod is turned?
