I like him very much Pistol.
I found him a few days ago too, but wasn't sure he was the right one.

Well team, we have 2 in and Pistol assures me he has his article dipped in gold, he's just waiting for it to dry

Wow, that's going back a week or two, Pistol!

I'm really looking forward to the next movie, having only just seen Casino Royale, (only a weeks or so after going to that casino :D), and I think Quantum Solace is going to be a cracker. I really rate Daniel Craig as Bond, even though I've never seen him in anything else.[/ramble]

Craig is ok, i quite like his Bond. He's sort of like Dalton in that he's more edgy. Dalton's Bond was considered by many including Desmond Llewellyn (who played Q), as the closest to Ian Flemings vision of Bond.

Aye, I've heard the same comments about Craig. I was pretty surprised reading my first Ian Fleming book several years ago, (Casino Royale, incidentally), to see how the book-Bond was so different to the Connery-Bond that I had become so accustomed to.

Actually, I wouldn't mind reading some more Ian Fleming. It's been a while... :D

Great stuff Kitty and Pistol! Really good to see the Irish right in this one... I really enjoyed both of your contributions!

Got a great fight from the Kiwis too... this one will be close :D

I'm also putting the finishing touches on another article, despite the fact we don't have a game for another week! Stream of consciousness at the moment, for some reason

Guess I should take the foot off the accelerator and wait to see how this one pans out first!

Congrats on three in team, was good to see I had such a prepared team, benchies included.

Would have hated my first go at captain to put me off the idea forever now wouldn't we?

Never Mirccle! :D
When the engin is fireing, go with it. Articles will save and it doesn't hurt to have a couple waiting backstage incase you forget your lines sometime in the future

ok... we have a week to ourselves before our next game kicks off.
Show of hands for who wants in, would like to organise the team asap so everyone knows where they're standing.
I plan to give preference to those who didn't just get a run.

Felt a bit rusty out there

Hell of an effort team. Enjoy the week off because its on again on Sunday against the Kumuls who are white hot and are at unbackable odds

Very much agree with the senitments of giving others a run, Kitty. Count me having something in the ready as a good indication that, if needed, I'd be happy to be a benchie for the next match just in case. Happy to be either left right out, on the bench or in the run-on for any match - whatever suits the team :D

True team spirit Miccle :D
will put you on the bench for now and see how we go.

Run-on's:

Robster OUT
Griffo346 IN
Hallatia

Bench:

Miccle IN
Black Kitty (c)

(not the usual thing for the captain to do I know... but if you prove to me you can have the place I'm willing to sit bench and just yell :sarcasm:)

DragonPunk?
Robster?
Hallatia?
Griffo (know you'd be up for a run, right?)
