JA won't be picked. Like The cum throwers said. He only was due to the rotation policy.
Coach isn't silly enough to pick him in a game this big.

Can anyone with a straight face say that Jake would be playing at 17 if Stoney was available?
Im old and easilly confused but wasnt Jake selected because of injury concerns over Mitch. So you now reckon Stone could be a back up half if he was fit?

Yes I can. The coach rates him.
Personaly I feel he is jersey flegg level.

Lol ja was in the team with stone rnd 1 and 2. The coach had every intention to play him as much as possible. And I have no doubt he’ll be selected tomorrow.

Unsure why you are talking about Stone playing in the halves FFS. If Stone was fit, he would take up the slack in the forwards that would allow Marata to play in the centres if there was an inury in the backs.

Right now Nathan Brown's form has slipped him down the pecking order and without Stone, Marata needs to be prop whilst Jnr plays his hybrid lock roll before Ryano comes on. Then Marata plays prop rotation

You can tell how much BA is missing Stoney of late by how he doesn't rate / trust Makka or Ogden as middles.

Since Rnd 19, those two players have only been given an average of 14 mins on the field.

This was our ladder positions at end of each round for the season.

We only spent 5 rounds in the top 4 and weren't there since Round 7.

Between Round 4 & 7 then Round 25.

Quite remarkable how we timed our run into the top 4 to perfection once the music/season ended.

Now its time to cash in and go deep.

I rewatched last years final between these teams. It’s a deadset, underrated classic.

It was our win for the taking. In the closing minutes, Fergo made a break following a midfield shift and inexplicably grubbered around the fullback down the sideline. An infield kick results in a try to Gutho or Will.

Stone’s service was surprisingly good (or negligibly worse in comparison to Mahoney this year). Obviously, he made a couple of crucial errors you can put down to playing in an unfamiliar role.

We were sensational almost all over the park. Gutho, Will, Mitch, Reg, Marata and Cartwright were huge. Hopefully all those aforementioned apply the same this week.

Penrith were coming off the heartbreak of the 2020 grand final and had everything to play for. Could their will to win this game waiver when the going gets tough? They know that they can still win the competition when losing week one of finals. Let’s hope this shows subconsciously.

The development of Dylan Brown and the improvement in Shaun Lane with the ball has proven to be the biggest difference between this year and last. In fact, across the park, we have more experience, deeper developed combinations and are going in with better form.

Penrith are undoubtably fresher than this time last year and are still the benchmark.

I can see the desire burning through the squad. As others have mentioned, I truly believe our lapses through the regular season can be put down to the fact that they have known that they can dance with anyone. They know they would be a massive threat come finals. They have been waiting for this time without doing the job in front of them at parts. They will be ready Friday night. Eels by two tries plus.

What was missed was Moses being collared from behind to the ground by Luai so he couldn't be there to support should have been a penalty.

On the MMM Monday podcast with Reidy and Gemma Laurence, Reidy said that Taylan May was found guilty of some crime and the NRL are to decide what suspension they will impose upon him. So might be picked on TLT but probs not play.

Having Charlie Staines on the wing instead of Taylan May would be a bonus.

I wouldn’t imagine he will be punished. The charge wording of an assault occasioning bodily harm sounds nasty, but in reality, a bruise or scratch is bodily harm. I don’t think that the League should give any more pleasure to members of the public who act as pests, as is the case in this matter.
