I don't think he should be suspended at all, nor pay a fine that that size. He must be on close to minimum so that's a fair chunk.
And if we're finally treating finals as more important than club games then good. Should've done it ages ago.

If the NRL saw fit to not give him a suspension then so be it.
But obviously they do think it’s worth a suspension. So why delay it?
I don’t subscribe to the “Can’t miss a Final for that” crowd. If it’s bad enough to miss a regular season game then it’s bad enough to miss a Final.

I sure as hell care a lot more about finals matches than regular season games. They are far more valuable.

I'll much rather a fit NRown come in for Makatoa than worry about JA.

At least NRown can share the workload alot more with the others and keep up a high enough level of skill.

Though I do want him to play the Marata kamakaze role. Safe ball playing and no 4th tackle settlers before the kick.
Marata is really doing his role well. Just hit it up hard into gaps. Use aggression to tackle and Nrown has to do the same.

Leave the forward ball playing to Matto and Paulo.

If the game is tight and there are no injuries, JA will only play 5-10 mins. If it goes down to the wire, he wont get any game time at all. Purely just there to cover injuries.

So for me, I wish NRown => Maka and if I can have a 2nd wish Carty => JA

FFS, how does that work?
If his crime deserves suspension, why are they letting it carry into next year?
Supports the theory that went around (was it Kenty) that said the MRC/NRL only cares about having everyone available for the semi's which is why NAS was only fined and not suspended.

It's an odd call. But it doesn't impact the game a whole lot.
