I think good hookers will get a few steaps forward before pass and engage the markers and take them out of play or atleast ove them.
Rheed I feel doesn even do this. It means the markers will just move towards ball. If you watch Cook or Api etc they don't always run. They rarely run but the markers are worried so engage. They basicaly play games with them and keep them on their toes.
Everyone knows Reed doesn't run. If he does he won't get far, he is as slow as a turtle.
Sometimes the unknown is just as dangerous as the act.
But yes agree that Reins run game and engagement of the markers is better then Reeds it might be seen as also average and not dangerous enough to warrant selection.
