If we can't win this weekend I'd say we are going to struggle to make top 8...... To lose against Tigers and Newcastle would show we are closer to the wooden spoon fight then the top 4.
I think we win by 40 to be honest. Against Tigers we where terrible but still almost won. We won't be that bad all season.
This will be the kick start the side needs.

That’s a big call. I’d be happy to see it, but I reckon we’re more a 6/7 from 10 - and I’m fine with that providing come the last 10 games we’re a 8/10 team as that’s when it’s most important heading to the finals

Tbh, you know your footy - and I tend to agree.

We were woeful against the Tigers, and still nearly won (we didn't, and in all honesty, wouldn't have deserved to - but we did almost win).

Bump it up to 75-80% effort, minimise the errors, bomb it to Ponga and smash him (lol what a cat), and we got this.

Why did we bother extending him than?? If he can't be relied on or at beat is only ok for 8 min stints in the NRL then what's the point?

I'm not BA so I can only guess.

Maybe BA thought he could get him to tackle, or maybe he doesn't see him as a team defender at all, he only wants him to play in an offensive line for the last 10 mins against a tired defense.

There aren't any x-factors that are fringe players and cost jack shit, but he can be useful in attack, so other than the fact he was cheap I have no idea why he was re-signed

Also, its a nice reminder that most of us keyboard nuffies know f**k all about what is happening behind the scenes. Doesn't stop some people flapping their gums with a foolish degree of certainty but it probably should.

Regs injury. He could hardly walk on it.
Opacics injury. He didnt look good either.
Mahoneys brain farts. Gee he made some errors last game.
Nrown also appeared to be carrying an injury.
Anticipated return to a bash and barge game plan with no offloads to minimise errors.
Non effective defence.
Slow PTB.
