Maybe Lomax to Fullback (his preferred position) and everything else status quo. Will be surprised if Widdop is back this year, 3rd time same shoulder (it was the same shoulder right??) and now he'll be real worried about it moving forward. As for the Lomax to Fullback move, its in McDuckwits DNA as its the only change he has to make

Predictions for Knights.
Lomax in for Rava.
Field onto the bench.

Agree Crush, this seens the logical thing to do, but other options maybe:
Dufty fullback - Lomax bench
Lomax fullback - Dufty bench

In any case they will target our wingers with bombs as:
Lee - 196 cm
SKD - 194 cm
Will provide big targets for them against our small backline.

I'd like to see:

1. Dufty in for Widdop - a test to see if his defence and confidence under the high ball has improved.
2. Pereira - no competition for his position.
3. Lomax in for Aitken - Aitken played will in attack when he just hogged the ball and ran hard. No improvement in defence, passing game or setting up his winger. Lomax as goal kicker.
4. Lafai - no real competition for his position.
5. Pearson - Mika has a fair way to go before he is a first grade winger, time to give Pearson a crack.
6. Norman
7. Hunt
8. Graham
9. McInnes
10. Vaughan
11. T Sims
12. Host
13. Lawrie

14. Robson
15. K Sims
16. Kerr
17. Aitken

It won't happen but that is what I think would be our best side.

If you listen to Lomax his preferred position is 3, 1 and in the middle order for the Aussie cricket side.

Has read the press it seems, unproven at NRL level and needs to earn his spot through consistent performances....not being handed a jersey

Agree- Widdop is a 80-90% goal kicker-and given SGI will take penalty shots more often than some other teams, a kicker of Widdop's high standard is needed in the team somewhere. Personally I wouldn't mind if he played full back with all the Knights tall backline timber likely to be chasing down Pearce's bombs. I doubt that Lafai, Hunt or Norman will be able to cut the mustard on the kicking front.

Hey Gitmo .. you learned how to block the opposition chasers yet or are you happy to allow your wingers to be outjumped and unprotected ... would have thought after 80 games you would learn where to position yourself. I mean look at the Roosters game last year when you left Nighty all alone ... So many times you have done this, Rava just the latest to be left stranded by your lack of game awareness.

Also, great work tackling Milford, i mean that ineffective tackle only resulted in a try and Widdop having his shoulder dislocated. Good work on the pass to Ravalawa in the opening minute as well.

Finally, how much did you pay for the Nags to drop the ball over the line when you were burned on the inside for what should have been the match winning try.

Its all good though, one strong run is enough for you to be classed as "brilliant" again ...138metres for the game with about 60 of them in one run.

Piss off Aitken and I would slot Field in as the game breaker.

So why not hold Mary to the same standard; unproven at NRL level and must go to ESL to learn his trade.
