So who's fault was it that we paid out those players $1 million dollars? Who released them / signed off on it? That management in charge at the time didn't have to release. But they let those players go and continued to do it last year. And then they went and self reported like a pack of numnuts

Stability following sharp? We are coming LAST and are the laughing stock of the league.

You know what I too was a Parrafirst supporter but these guys have broken every promise so far.
Chill pill Jake....

The mess from prior administrations was never going to be able to be fixed overnight - with all the chopping and changing at the club under 3P, it seems like no one had been keeping watch of cap management while they chased an instant fix (to live up to their election promises).

We will now be clear of all the bullshit payout conditions etc ready to use our full cap in 2016. Seward and co told us all this when the perilous state of things first came to light - before any sanctions came to light. Yes, we're coming last... but we've been there before, one game away from three seasons in a row (thanks Kearney and Stuart).

What more do you want the current guys (Seward, Sharp, Arthur) to do? They are working with the NRL, the NRL has basically come out in support of how the current Board are managing the mess, and we will be clear for 2016. What does your "sack the board" bluster and agenda achieve?

Who was responsible for chopping all those players? Was it done under the current management?

What do I want the current management to do? Admit that they stuffed up in releasing all those players when we could not afford to do so. Stop blaming previous managements / nrl for
Our salary cap drama when it was the current management that released them and take responsibility for their actions. They f**ked up. The other thing is id like them
To get us off The bottom of the table. Maybe current coaching staff are out of ideas, I don't know!

Ummm, another way of looking at it is that we couldn't afford not to release them (after arranging for another club to eat part of their salary) as the salaries to which the club was committed (largely by the previous administration) put us at or over the cap.

Not one of the players were released unconditionally.

Mindless partisan behaviour is largely what has got the club into this mess.......keep going....see where it gets us.

Give the nrl a gobful? Why?

Every team in the comp has to play by the same rules. Just because WE stuffed it up you want the rules changed now. If it were Manly or the bulldogs you would say sucked in to them. I know I would.

We have only ourselves to blame for poor management of the cap. Instead of blaming the nrl blame the people who totally screwed it for us, our management. Or is the new board beyond reproach.

We are the only team in this predicament. 15 of the 16 clubs have got it right. Why is that???

Problem with people these days is that they look at others to blame instead of focusing on themselves taking responsibility and working hard to achieve better results.

Whilst we have dumb managers in charge who don't know how to run a club we will always be LAST.

you are confusing the salary cap breach from 2 years ago to our current situation

we have 11 players unavailable, according to BA's interview and we are forced to play some of our preferred players in NSW cup

yeh, that's very fair on the fans and sponsors

you are blinded by your hate can cant see whats going on

BA now seems to love to use the expression "Salary Cap Compliant" all the time

http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/br...ack-chris-sandow/story-fndv34of-1227374058525

He should be told to pull his head in... He obviously believes that because he ignored the NRL last year for his team to be salary cap compliant that he should be able to just keep playing a non salary cap compliant team forever...

Arthur is a rookie coach making some rookie mistakes but we still need to stick with him until the end of his tenure. He is under extreme pressure and it showed when he spilled a bottle of water at a reporter last week. If we get rolled badly tonight I expect the newspapers to apply the blow torch and increase the speculation of Foran reneging.

Unfortunately yes, I think everyone here likes Arthur cause of attitude but results are the be all and end all. Hope he gets it together.

Let's hope he does get it together. Realistically, are there any more qualified or better options to coach the club? I can't think of any.

I think us f**king the cap up over the last few years was a necessary evil. Otherwise we'd still have certain useless pricks on the books and we would probably be a few years behind where we are now.

Give Arthur and the board 2016 regardless of how this year pans out. next year will be the true indication of whether he can coach or not.

We still seem to have some of the useless ones left.

who?

Sandow is off contract and Captain America is only one I would love to see piss off, but I doubt he is taking up too much cap space. The other expensive pillow lussick is off contract and champion is another player I would deem useless that wont be here next year.

I think even luke Kelly and ryan morgan are off contract?

I didn't say for someone to say to the coach your fired, just pull your head in with some of your comments.

So Arthur throws a bit of water and it's a bad look for the game and he is clearly under pressure. Ricky Stuart gets pissed off and kicks a chair at last weekends game and it's "passion"
