If this is some no name forward, everyone would agree that it was not that bad.
But because it's Thaiday (omgz 3rd man innnnn worst person in da worlddzz) people have blinders on.

Lockyer didn't even get cited for a similar tackle in origin 3, why would anyone be surprised if Thaiday got away with it as well?

1 or maybe 2 weeks is fair for that tackle.

lol @ all the jealous haters in this thread who are shocked that Thaiday has no loading and a decent judiciary record. I guess that bandwagon you all jumped on just lost a wheel, you sheep.

Who thinks their team can't beat the Bronco's with Sam playing is more the point.

A League supporter would probably think Sam should get a week to consider his indiscretion so the Broncos can be beaten fair and square in the lottery

Manly will probably have a media release saying poor Kitey has blurred vision and will be lucky to live past Wednesday. Then after the massive suspension he will play on the weekend.

Was talking to a mate that was talking to Brent at the airport last nite and he was ok

Him grabbing the ball from next to Kite and running off made it look worse too, imo.

It was on a Manly player. Should have been play on and a pat on the back after.

Definitely no suspension, he was doing a service to the game.

Brisbane Broncos forward Sam Thaiday is facing two weeks on the sidelines after he was today charged with a Grade 2 Dangerous Throw by the NRL Match Review Committee.
An early plea would see the international and State of Origin forward miss two weeks, while he could be suspended for three weeks if he were to fight the charge at the judiciary and lose.
If he pleads guilty, Thaiday will miss Saturday night's clash with the Warriors at Suncorp Stadium, plus Brisbane's next game.

I wonder if Sam will be third man to enter the judiciary, behind his counsel etc. That would be just so funny.
