Carmella and Lebron in the same team would be massive.

But could Carmello handle not being the number 1 guy on the team?
The guy is an out-and-out ball hog. Can't stand him.

LeBron is a true champion. Hope he goes to the Bucks (Yeah right. No one goes to the Bucks).

Carmello has to be the No. 1 player at the Knicks. Agreed though he would need to become more of a distrubutor to fit in with the Heat offence.

For sure, personally I'd prefer Lebron to go to the Knicks (that's who I support). Without Carmello we will be even more crap than we were this past season.

I think Lebron would be reluctant to go to the Knicks. Plus with the rumours of Carmello not getting along with everyone I wonder whether Phil Jackson will push that hard to keep him.

I can't stand blokes who change the order of their given and family names to make them self sound more exotic. His mum's name is not Mrs James, it's Mrs LeBron.

I think I might become O'Speedwagon Barry for a while.

f**king hell, Gronk. That's little more than a pamphlet.

There are 20 "questions" spread across 22 pages, for Christ's sake. None of the "answers" stretch beyond 300 words!

Not only that - it's actually hilarious flawed. Look at the graph on Page 3 - now explain to me why 1910-1945 (before the Post-War Economic Boom) shows as much increase as 1980-2000? Why is the longest, most sustained increase prior to the PWEB?

The graph on Page 10 is supposed to show how bad things are going to be but it assumes that CO2 increases pre-date temperature increases when analysis of the proxy records illustrate the exact opposite!

Not to mention the fact that it doesn't even touch the pre-IR trend, at all! None of the temperature graphs extend back beyond 1880...gee, isn't that convenient!

Do you even have any access to real scientific papers? Do you even know what one is?

All you continue to do is show that your "knowledge" of the subject comes from a google search followed by 2 minutes of scanning. But I'm fine with you continuing to display your ignorance, mate, as I'm having a bit of fune here.

Please give me more.

Rather than camping on the grassy knoll and taking sniper pot shots and any comment I make or cherry picking items that you purport to be flawed from various academics , why don't you provide me with your actual position ? What hard evidence do you have that this global warming thing is a storm in a tea cup ?

You're doing your side of the argument no favours in lambasting me or anyone else who is leaning towards the populist view.

This is why I said earlier (which I note you have conveniently and quite clumsily side stepped)

Excellent. Seeing you're such an expert. The floor is yours. Convince me.

A brief bibliography would give you some credibility (just saying).

Yeah I doubt LeBron will end up at the Knicks and I won't be surprised if Carmello heads off.
Certainly will be a rebuilding year.

The egos in the NBA are crazy. They make our guys look pleasant.

The NBA desperately need a hard salary cap like the NRL and NFL.
It's just ridiculous how the big teams can sign all the talent.

But that's how chinese people identify themselves.

Last Name Middle Name Given Name.

In the old days, the Middle Name is derived from a story/saying/motto regarding the family. The next generation uses the next word in the story.

e.g. if my family's story was

THE QUICK BROWN BEAR JUMPED OVER THE LAZY POM.

and if my dad's middle name was BEAR, mine would be JUMPED.

So my name would be

CHENG JUMPED YY

So if I bumped into another asian named

CHENG JUMPED ????

I would know he was my bro or cuz or the same generation as I.

If I met someone named

CHENG BROWN ?????

I would know he would be a relative of my Grandfather's generation.

However, I believe this naming convention is dying out.

Maybe LeBron wants to be Chinese

the funniest part of all is that even if the team is over the cap they give you a nice big excemption of $5m+ each year to sign some more players

Yeh, but Chinese people still can't admit they got it wrong with the chopsticks idea! (Only jokin..... I use them frequently). I didn't get the full chain of names in the story....you've done a better job that a few of my colleagues who have tried to explain that to me before.

After ESPNs colossal stuff-up in regard to the Jeremy Lin thing, they could probably do with a Chinese player who they couldn't describe in similar terms....so good thinking.

I love Asian food but I am absolutely f**king hopeless with chopsticks. Mrs Gutful has given up trying to teach me how to use them.

I didn't side step anything. From my original post I said there are still questions that I would like answered.

Namely: the recent temperature movements that are claimed as anthropogenic can be found occurring naturally in recent history. As a matter of fact, they can be found occurring naturally at several very important points in time. Firstly, just prior to the start of the Industrial Revolution and, secondly, just prior to the Post-War Economic Boom.

So, if these increases occurred naturally in recent times (which, geologically, would only be considered yesterday) then why is the most recent increase (which appears no different to previous natural trends) anthropogenic?

Similarly, these increases are seen to come in spurts with intervening stable periods, similar to what we have seen since 1999. So, the 1975-present variations (increase followed by pause) actually appears to be nothing more than a continuation of the cycle that has been going on for the last couple of centuries - well before anthropogenic carbon was introduced into the atmosphere.

So, once again...why is the post-1975 cycle any different to the undoubtedly natural cycles that occurred prior to it, and which it reflects almost perfectly?

***

And before you start asking for papers etc...there is enough info in the pamphlet you linked to to illustrate the pre-PWEB cycle and, secondly, I'm not the one stating that there has been a change in cause so I'm not the one that needs to prove anything. All the proof I need is actually in the links you have already posted (without actually knowing what you are doing or referencing).
