soooo - i need advice

there is a car parked out the front of my place that is clearly dumped .... was left there at 3am one night with a flat tire and a bit of damage - been there 3 weeks now

I called the cops and told em the license number about a week after - but they didn't seem to give a poop

what do I do? call em again? ... i'm gettin a bit sick of it being there

Tell them that someone is trying to break into your house and that you have a gun and are going after them.
They'll be there in 5.

When they get there say you know nothing about the break in but maybe they could have a look at the car out the front.

Or maybe ring up and say you saw some 'suspicious characters' putting what looked like a bomb in the boot.

Late one night take the handbrake off and push it down the road far enough that it becomes someone else's problem.

Remove the number plates. A registered vehicle is allowed on the street indefinitely. No plates is a different issue.

No idea in terms of temps, and it warms up later in the year, but in first week of December the water at Racecourse Beach (near Bawley Point) was quite tepid.....can differ with the ocean current though.

Cabrita,Pottsville and Kingscliffe FTW!

Murrays Beach is a favourite of mine.

Was in Pottsville a few months back, fantastic place.

Very nice place. I lived at Broulee for almost 10 years.

I think I watched the 1995 GF at a friends place at Broulee....which ever one it was that Marty Bella dropped the kick off. :)

I used to stay in the Lake Tabourie Caravan Park around Chrissy time for a number of years.
Damn beautiful part of the world.

Eagle River?!?

^^ this. If it's registered the owner is entitled to park it anywhere he wants in an unrestricted zone.

These days you don't need a sticker, so it might be hard to tell if there is any rego left. I'd remove the plates and slide them under the car. Then call council.

This happens a fair bit in my area - backpackers leave their station wagons in the street and just go home. Our council gets rid of them fairly quickly. Within 24hrs there is a sticker on the window providing a deadline to make contact. Afterwards they sell it or scrap it.

removing the plates from someone else's car is an offence

all you need to do is call council, its their problem not yours

whether it has a rego sticker or not council will contact the rta to see who owns it and ask them to remove it, if that fails they will remove it

Not if it has valid rego and is not parked illegally they won't.
