Dunno mate, he also tells of pulling over a driver who had a tabloid newspaper stretched over the steering wheel while hooning down one of the freeways in Canberra. The driver was most indignant and claimed 'What? I look up every now and then!'

i've got that covered one morning when i was driving to work i saw a guy with the newspaper spread over the wheel AND using an electric shaver

Now the merkin has blocked me for telling him I didn't like his comment.

What do you think about that Poupou?

i'm sure he probably typed it while driving too

Peatsy answers to no merkin.

I'm gunna call him 'No Merkin' from now on then, and see if responds.

That's when I'm not calling him 'A Hut'. Actually I think 'No Merkin' is a better name.

That's all  and

What's the go with people who live in housing commission having foxtel?
If they can afford foxtel, they can afford to pay proper rent.

Didnt this get talked about last year ME?
Steal your in-laws.

Yeah, but it's still pissing me off. Someone I work with was just mentioning their wiz bang foxtel and internet connection. I don't have foxtel because I'm paying a mortgage and investing for my retirement. It pisses me off that freeloaders blow their money and expect everyone else to pay for them.
End rant.

Lol don't you steal your in-laws foxtel?

It's all legit. They pay for it with their own money (not taxpayer funded), they gave me the password.

It's the houso spongers that are the problem. If they can't afford to pay their own rent, then they can't possibly afford foxtel. Bludgers.

Abbott will weed them out and make them work for the dole. Good stuff. Personally I'd like a mix between labors re-training policy for long term unemployed and work for the dole. Either way the bludgers need to be told that time's up. Perhaps then their accommodation can be freed up for those in genuine need.

I don't want to even help those merkins. Charles Darwin would be turning in his grave, except he's evolved into a giant brown moth that flutters across the desert at night.

Just think..those bludgers at Ford, Holden, SPC, Qantas, Electrolux, and the Canberra Public Servants will soon be told their time is up....
Abbott will get them.....

Pete, are you suggesting the current government is responsible for the decisions made by Ford, Holden, SPC, QANTAS and Electrolux?

If the ALP was planning to throw some money to these companies to help them survive, why dont they do the same for 100% of businesses in Australia. I'll have some please.

There's a difference between a bit of bad luck and abject laziness (or inate inability to be productive).

Helping those who can, and want to, contribute benefits everyone in the long run.

Lazy merkins and useless pricks shouldn't get a cent, however. I don't care if you were born stupid and incapable, you're a net loss so off to the gutter you go to die.

Are they getting all channels or just the basic package...if it is all channels then you may have a point but if it is just the basic channels then they really are on the bones of their arses!!!

What exactly is happening?

If it is simply that the HC have paid for the connection (i.e. the cabling / installation cost) to Foxtel, there's no big deal, because they might not have much choice in the current environment.

If they're paying for the subscription that's pretty weird.
