So I'm watching Ender's Game. Besides being much shitter than the book, it is unrealistic. Why do these kids (and kids in any movie or tv show) have arguments and nobody pulls out "f**k up merkin"?

When I was a kid "f**k up merkin" won any argument. It was an instant win. The only way to salvage a draw was to reply "You f**k up!"

Are screenwriters out of touch with modern yoof?
