The whole series in on ebay for about $140 last time I checked. I got the complete Batman: The Animated Series off there for about $220

cheers mate

Went to see Olympus has Fallen tonight, Man of Steel trailer played beforehand, epic, just epic. Slightly different than the one posted here, more focus on the suit, and whether he has the people of Earth's trust or not.

nothing less than Gold Class will suffice for this one. get in the queue.

just to clarify I'm talking about the 80's series, not unlimited. i'll take either, but would prefer the 80's one - with extra cheese :D

There was a film in the works a few years ago that was cancelled. After that the Green Lantern, Man of Steel and the sequel to The Dark Knight, plus another solo movie was going to set up Justice league. But then Green Lantern bombed and The Dark Knight Rises threw Bruce Wayne out the window. You could always set Justice League in that silly eight year gap where Batman does nothing but it seems unlikely.

Nolan is involved in both Batman and Superman movies and he has said he wants to keep them individual. At the moment they seem to be rushing into it so they can keep up with The Avengers.

And I agree, the Justice League cartoon was brilliant, as was the whole DC animated universe that began with the Batman animated series.

I think it was originally supposed to be a Batman v Superman movie that never left the ground. They decided to just reboot Batman with Batman Begins.

In the movie with Will Smith, I am Legend, there can be seen a logo in the back ground for it.

I'm not sure on the specifics myself, but I believe that this was a legit thing for a while there before being scrapped in favour of Batman Begins.

It was legitimate. Wolfgang Peterson was attached to direct and there was a screenplay written, but Peterson dropped out to film Troy.
Christian Bale turned down the role, who was also approached for Batman: Year One that was going to be directed by Darren Aronofsky. Warner Bros eventually moved on from both projects to focus on Batman Begins.

I only think a Justice League film will come about if Nolan and Zack Snyder produce it and Christian Bale and Henry Cavill headline it. I don't think an audience will embrace rebooted Batman or Green Lantern films so soon.

I think they should steer clear of a Justice League movie. Other than batman, no other character has been embraced by the general public.

Frankly, focus on 3 man of steel movie and then look into a Superman/Batman movie or even creating a wonder woman movie, see if that can work. (which it won't, but if it did it would be a big win for DC)

Damn my non-geeky girlfriend.

Can't go watch Iron Man 3 with my mates, gotta have some "quality" time together this weekend.

Well, it's booked in. I'm having a date with the wife to see iron man 3 in gold class next Saturday.

And the Saturday after that I'm having a date with the mother in law to see Star Trek in gold class

just returned from seeing IM3, i have to say i'm a little... i dont want to say underwhelmed but some little things aren't sitting right with me

when did the iron man armour (all 42 of them) become so weak? seems they were falling apart all over the place when in previous films (including the avengers) they took all sorts of punishment with little to no repercussions

no AC/DC?

One positive that I will mention:

LOL Ben Kingsley - "Ole ole ole!!!"

I agree noyd. I just got home from seeing it. Whilst I enjoyed it, it just wasn't the same.

IM3 is different to the first two in a similar way that Transformers 3 was different to the first two.

Just a couple twists in the movie that I just don't think were needed
