Sorry PJ, again, I have showed as many fact & figures & stats as I can to support peaches claim for a new contract.
This one sided debate(one sided because there is no debate) has gone on for months & is nothing more than a personal hatred by DS against Peach.
he came up with 1 stat, that in fact, was wrong & claimed victory in the "debate".
Show me 1 other post of his where he has raised a "real" point of fact, other than his last post on the topic.
There is nothing to support his preference for flicking peach other than his disdain for him.

Nathan Merrit is competely off first grade standard , but worse, seems to put in little effort.

Yes Reefy are you be called un-australian for your continueing attacks on a first year clubman, he's trying his best and the club yes the club paid all that money. Your attacks on Merritt remind me of the attacks some people made on the great Brett Kimmorley in his early days and look to where he is now.

comments lacking intelligence. In your case it was unbridled almost hysterical support, for somebody whoe clearly was not aiming up.
To say he played very well, to say he is a good player, to even say he is a flyer or a good kicker, with the facts as they stand, is/was unintelligent.
Like these comments are.

Peachey is too old for a new contract at age 30. When one of our best backs in the club ever, produced his best football after this age. Combined wth the fact that Peach is currently one of the most lethal attacking weapons in the game.

peachey is injury prone. When the facts say he misses few games & is actually quite the opposite. Durable.

Peachey is slow. Clearly a ridiculous comment.

but the peach may not be as good as he was in his heyday and after 10 years that would be right but he still has a lot to offer the sharks in defence and especially attack. We are currently developing a couple of players to play fullback for when Peachey is considerred not good enough which may or may not be before the end of next year.

but I have to here because IMO Peachey deserves another year as long aS he wants it, just look at Reefy's figures they tell the story

When Merrit was signed I remember Souths getting the shits because we had doubled his contract. They said we had payed overs for him. I was sure they said we got him for 120k. They could have been mistaken too I suppose.
