I sincerely like the show, but the fact that cant show 15 mins worth of boxing in an hour long show is pretty pathetic IMO, more realistic fighting on Street Fighter special championship edition with all that editing crap.

I'm pretty sure they advertise the final as being a LIVE event. So although the finalists have probably been decided. The final hasn't been fought, therefor noone can know who the winner is.

Cant believe they brought back that dude last night, he maybe okay fighting @ Wagga Wagga RSL but a Contendor he is not. Good to see an ex leaguey carve up though.

I think Kariz might be the one to beat. He has a few losses on his record but it's noticeable that they mostly came earlier in his pro career, against quality opposition, and at a higher weight.

Victor has beaten Kariz by knockout before and has a strong pro record as well, but he didn't look that impressive against Junior. Having said that, Junior may very well have been one of the top 2 or 3 in the comp and was just unlucky to (a) fight one of the big guns first up, and (b) cop the rough end of a close decision.

Nader would be the other one to consider but he looked very unimpressive against Les, and it's worth noting that Les previously battled his way to 2 draws against Israel, who tbh looked pretty sh*t.

And, oh yeah, I forgot about Daniel. He looked good but he has a few blemishes on his record too.

Hmmm, think I'll stick with Kariz as my tip.

It's interesting also that the fights were fought back in August/September, yet the results don't even get updated on boxrec until after they're televised. Very well kept secret.

i'd say it would also be shown on delay at some stage too otherwise it's a bit of a rort just to get people to buy Mundine's fight against another easy beat

They should do what the American Contender do. Have a fight card with contender fights that didn't happen on the show. Would love to see Junior knock Nader out. Piper vs Jungle Boy.

Kariz V Junior would be a fight I would like to see. Both look very impressive, even though Junior didn't get the win.
