All the money I've invested into my youth team over the last two and a half seasons is finally starting to pay off.

This week: Solid scorer, inad passing
Last week: Passable defender, only a few weeks off solid I believe
Previous week: Solid playmaker, passable winger

Oh, it feels gooooood! :p

Way-hey!! U SHOULD feel good - Theyre some bloody good pulls there mate!!!! And 3 in a row?! Wow!!

What's everyones stadium capacities so far....I've finally built my place up to 20,000

Ive just ordered works, which will take mine to within a whisker of 60,000 - there's some good teams been put in my division this season, so by my calculations, I reckon i SHOULD be able to fill that on a semi-reasonably regular basis!

Ive ordered construction which would take my stadium to 10800(it was all i could afford) - but this is only because of my stupid error when i started playing the game in which i decreased my stadium and then had to increase it back to what it was originally :(

After todays friendly i should back in the black - and ready for next season.

How did everyone go in the cup draw??

I playing at home to a div III team :( - I'm predicting a hefty beating for my team.

Just checked, i got a division V team which is what i expected for the first round seeing the way the rankings are set for the first round.

I should be able to win, but i raised an eyebrow when i had a close look at this blokes last line up, he'll hold his own against me.

I'm looking at going for the 4th round of the cup this year.

4 seasons ago I made the 4th round of the cup, and beat a Div III team in doing it (my best ever result). I eventually matched up against Division 1 Klinsman Utd and that was the end of that. Hopefully history can repeat after some less than flattering results in the cup the last 3 seasons.

They are 3 fantastic youth pulls. Did you say you got them 3 weeks in a row? If so, thats incredible good fortune!

If you are going to consider selling any of them for quick money, let me know. I'd be especially keen to have a close look at the solid scorer as a trainee, and also would have a close look at the solid P/Mer. I'd be willing to pay over the odds for them if they are as good as i suspect they are.
Yep, three weeks in a row.

I do want to keep them, but if your willing to offer enough to be worthwhile I'll put them on the transfer list.

These are their more detailed statistics:

Mark Nuttall (20090837)
18 years, passable form, healthy
A pleasant guy who is balanced and upright.
Has disastrous experience and passable leadership abilities.

Nationality: Oceania
Assessed value: 168 000 AU$
Wage: 1 840 AU$/week
Owner: Rockhampton Wolves
Warnings: 0

Stamina: inadequate Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: wretched Passing: inadequate
Winger: poor Defending: poor
Scoring: solid Set Pieces: poor

--------

Brodeigh Hillman (17678789)
18 years, passable form, healthy
A popular guy who is balanced and dishonest.
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities.

Speciality: Powerful

Nationality: Oceania
Assessed value: 248 000 AU$
Wage: 2 240 AU$/week
Owner: Rockhampton Wolves
Warnings: 1

Stamina: inadequate Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: solid Passing: poor
Winger: passable Defending: wretched
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: wretched

---------------

I've just trained stamina, so that'll go up for both of them come Friday. Doesn't matter so much for the striker, but it is obviously important for the playmaker.

Just tell me how much you'll offer and I'll get back to you.

Dang, well I wouldve more than likely taken a pop at your solid scorer/inad passer - about a week ago!!!

Unfortunately my squad acquisitions are now over for a while - i'll need a new defender soon enuff, but i'm hoping to have a rather good cup run and raise a bit of ca$h, so i can afford a REALLY good one in a few weeks' time, rather than rushing in & buying a donkey!!

Arsenal Gunners'
104 - last rating of the year for Arsenal Gunners'
III.7 - rated 4th best series overall and Arsenal Gunners' came 4th last season
Is going to PIC the cup game

VS

CKA
48 was my last rating of the year(i have brought some players and this will improve because because of stamina training)
V.96 - rated as 142nd

My question
I'm leaning towards the second option at the moment

should i try for the win as he is going to PIC the cup match and he wont be putting his best team out??

or

should i PIC the game and put my second team out to minimise any injuries and try for a better league start??

ok just a thought.

I have some space availible on my site (though the domain is eliza-dushku.sonnexh.com due to a fad with eliza dushku we had that weve gotten over, though a domain can be a solution) and its going to waste as at the moment it is being used for pics.
I was thinking that with the help of the people on here we could turn it into a hattrick database and help site for people on here. Its only 20 mgs though (if we need to we can get another free account at www.sonnexh.com, you get a great free account for 50 posts on their forum).

So how about it? A hattrick resource centre for the people on here. We can even get a forum on it aswell.

If your interested pm me or add me on msn incredibleholc_@hotmail.com
if you are good at creating web pages it would be great too.

Aussie_Knight, I've got the same scenario, although the team I'm playing has just been promoted to div III. But he obviously spent some time in IV and built his team up until he could compete at the higher level.

At first I put out a team that I wanted to try and win the match, but I think I'm going to end up PIC'ing it and using my 'b' team. I'll probably play pressing to try and keep the score down as well.

That does sound very good holc.
