Not over yet, altho old trafford match could certainly put the final nail in our coffin, where there is life there is hope

Blackburn desperately unlucky tho, disgusting home ground reffing from Webb. Christiano Ronaldo gets away with kicking out at an opponent yet again, at least a yellow plus his booking later, and another side misses out on what was a clear penalty at old toilet. You'll most likely win the league and deservedly so but you have a golden egg up your arse in games like last nights match.

If/ When he joins Real Madrid, it'll be amusing seeing all the ManUre fans suddenly waking up to what the rest of us have known all this time. Especially if golden boy's acting helps dismantle ManUre in the European Cup...

Thats it completely ignore the fact that Webb disallowed a perfectly legitamate goal by Evans.

As for it being a clear penatly:lol:

Liverpool fans have the most heightened and false sense of grandeur... Even worse than Tottenham fans atm.

Lol. He lightly brushes him on the shoulder, clear dive. And I don't know what coverage you were watching but the commentators both said it was a good call due to the minimal contact.

I can't wait to see Tranaldo's 3 match ban for kicking out... after all, the FA treats all players and teams equally, don't they?

Ronaldo did kick out, no excuses there. But the Blackburn player kicked him first, as they did countless other times during the match. In fact, I heard an interesting theory yesterday which seems to hold true. I suspect the FA have told the referees to allow more physical tackles to be commited on Ronaldo, but also be more lenient on Ronaldo when he reacts. It shouldn't happen like that, but the quite simple fact (or FACHT for Rafa) is that it does seem to be.

As for the penalty, did you actually see it yourself or are you just repeating what other Liverpool supporters are feeding you? Because all that happened was Rafael brushed Pederson on the shoulder, and Pederson went down like he was shot. The ref should have booked him for diving. And, as others have said, I notice you didn't mention anything about Evan's goal being disallowed for no reason.

Even if ManUre CAN win the EPL and the ECL, they will still be behind on altogether totals.

18 & 5> 18 & 4.

But there is still much football to be played.

If we want to play the history game, whidh was the first English team to crack success in Europe? Also, which was the first British team? Which two British teams have actually won treble of League, Cup and European Cup? The answer to none of these questions is Liverpool.

By the way, I actually cheered for Liverpool in 05 and 07. I'd much rather see an EPL team win than an Italian or Spanish team.

and yet again with so much football left, liverpool are very long odds to win the title their fans want.

sorry, but winning continental cups are a bonus

liverpool fans place so much importance on the champions league because they're usually out of the running in the premier league by this time, so you can rest up your full strength team on the weekend and play them midweek against teams battling for all competitions

but hey, take consolation in whatever you can ... i know you desperately would rather win the premier league than the champions league

and let's not forget, by the end up of next season ... man u's record will read 19/3or4

Funny that, because Alex Ferguson (the same Alex Ferguson who has managed ManUre for the last 23 years) rates the ECL more highly than the domestic league.
