Ronaldo was offside for the first goal, or so it seems....

yeah he got a touch, he flicked it on to ronaldo in space..hence it make what should have been a goal even better

Another clean sheet, another victory.

United 3 Fulham 0

This could turn out to be the best squad Fergie has ever assembled. What a manager.

what a team

scholes, what a fuggen goal :fist: ...schwarzer had nothing, then rooney, only been on for 2 minutes and his first touch is a goal, could have had more if berbatov could have kept his massive head onside, swear he is like van nistelrooy, always standing in an offside position

brilliant game..

Europe will be the test of that.

Their challengers in the Premier League have gone backwards.
yet there challengers in the PL are probably the best in europe...

apart form Barca... i cant see many other sides better than Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal...

i suppose this next round of CL games will put that to the test...

Hmm, i would say Inter and Juve.

But i probably thought that last year too until Inter got raped by Liverpool.

Real Madrid are having a good season, its just that they're being overshadowed by Barca who are having an amazing season.

I wouldnt agree with that, far from it.

Chelsea are Arsenal have gone backwards. Particuarly Arsenal. Be interesting to see how Chelsea go under Guus, but neither one of those sides have looked as strong as in previous seasons. Wouldnt surprise me to see Arsenal and also Chelsea (though the Guus factor may save them) get dumped in the next round of Champions League.

i actually think of all the English teams in the next round the team in the biggest danger is probably to Man Utd.

i would expect Chelsea to beat Juve.
Arsenal should bet Roma IMO
and Liverpool probably have enough to beat Madrid.

On form, you seriously wouldnt back Chelsea to beat Juve.

Likewise, Arsenal have a difficult leg against Roma.

Liverpool Real is a coin toss.

All three of those ties can go either way

European form and domestic form can differ greatly... just look at liverpool...

now that Chelsea have pretty much blown the EPL they can concentrate on the CL tournament... now is there a better tournament coach in world football than Hiddink?? ,... Big Phill perhaps...

i think Arsenal should beat Roma because man for man i think there better...

but i agree with Liver-Poo and Real-Flop being a coin toss.... but you would have to back Liverpool on recent european form.

2-1 victory over Blackburn overnight. Blackburn scoring the first league goal since Arsenal in November.
