Iā€™m sorry but I could never respect Manly, yes Iā€™m a f**king bigot!!

Mayhe I am.a bigot also cause when I see men kiss each other in public it makes me feel the need to look away immediately. Like a natural reaction.
I am happy to talk with gay people and hang around them. And don't care what they do in bedroom doesn't effect me.

Are gays really a problem in 2022? Seriously, I've known so many that I wonder if Polynesian churches are just using this as free marketing.

All of the others though, the identifying thing is a bigger issue for me. Weird thing is, I am probably on the side of the Churches when it comes to all the other characters except L and G.

I still don't know how a rainbow strip causes such an uproar though. Some people just can't wait to get offended.

The point is that they aren't slaves and no one is forcing them to do anything. Apparently you agree with me anyway so I'm not sure what you're on about.
The original post I responded to you about was you stating Manly were celebrating gay pride, to which I said it was less celebration (Ian Roberts frocked up riding Priscilla around the ground) and more awareness raising (which as Iā€™ve just responded to Pou about was very wokey of Manly). You seem to taken offence of me redefining ā€œcelebrationā€

That's called betrayal mate.

If you can't see the difference then you need your head read and I would argue that you are a merkin of the highest order and I wouldn't want my wife or sister anywhere near you merkin!
FFS, I said I didnt agree with him so why would you not want your wife or sister anywhere near me?

I think the players that are opposed to sorcery should refuse to participate in Magic Round.
And when are the NRL going to introduce quidditch rules for Magic Round?!?

I had to Google ā€œHarry Potter sportā€ to remember the name of it

If you think I've taken offence at anything your perception is clouded. I said the rainbow flag has associations with it and in many quarters it is seen as a celebration and support of a gay lifestyle.

One of those associations, particularly for businesses is ACONā€™s ā€œWecome here projectā€. I see Manlyā€™s inclusion of the rainbow colours on their jersey ā€œto create and promote environments that are visibly welcoming and inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ) communities.ā€

So what? Are you really denying that many people would view the players wearing the rainbow stripes as a celebration or support of homosexuality?

All Blacks wore a jersey which was black, yet when pulled revealed a rainbow.

All Blacks, the New Zealand menā€™s national rugby team, and the Black Ferns, the New Zealand womenā€™s national rugby team, to carry this important message about diversity and inclusion

Iā€™m sure there are some that take that position. Donā€™t think for a second everyone else has that opinion. Others would see it as Manly emphasising that anyone is welcome at their club, regardless of their sexual orientation. Itā€™s their club, they can do what they want and use whatever meaning behind the inclusion of some rainbow colours on their uniform as they see fit. Why should a subset of the populationā€™s association of a rainbow Flag dictate what they take it to mean?
