I'm not panicking. I said it wasn't the biggest issue in world. I think there are legitimate consequences. Happy for you to consider them very low risks. I'd call them medium and worthy of discussion.

Bolding was as per the website. I'm very willing to recognise people's experiences, and if more people in the community were less uptight, then there wouldn't be this fixation with the historical biology of sexes - or any logic flaw in appreciating gender.

As said previously, I'm not trying to convert anyone, or "school" anyone on tolerance. I am intolerant of (even acidental) bigotry regarding race, sex, and gender, and sexual orientation. Through in disability too.

If you want definitions for gender or anything else, go and google your own. Otherwise you're coming across as triggered and reactionary as Pou does.

I played with barbie dolls with my sister and cousins. I reckon nobody cared then. I also played with cars.

Maybe a study of 100 boys and 100 girls aged 1 yr 6 months

Place a Tonka truck 5 ft to the left and barbie 5 ft to the right of the kid.

See which toy the rugrat naturally crawls towards.

I'm empathic to people's experiences as well. I don't think anyone on here isn't....except for El Diablo.

I'm happy to accept your explanation when it comes to interactions with people close to us. But it falls over when it comes to encountering people you've never met before which happens on a daily basis.

If gender isn't defined by biology then in that situation it is impossible to know how someone "is recognised in the community" without taking a guess based on their apparent biology.

If a man wears a dress and looks like a female or a female is trying to look like a man then you've probably got a good chance of getting it right. But if we deviate from that and make it something more cerebral and less defined then I think its uneccesarily confusing. There is already alot of space to play within the spectrum of butch male ----> feminine woman. Anything beyond that seems self-indulgent for mine. It's also retrogressive and creates division where it isn't needed.

If you are going to have a discussion about what gender means then you should have a least thought it through and be able to describe what you think it is rather than just parrot some flawed definition with more holes in it than Hindy111's Spider Man undies.

All words have broad meanings and all concepts have paramaters in which they can be defined. Your copied definition of gender is unlike any other defined word in the english language.

What I'm gathering is that gender = whatever the f**k anyone wants it to be if it makes them feel good about themselves and anyone who disagrees is supposedly intolerant.

You've goosed yourself on this one and your reaction to being found out as having

+ No foundation behind your thinking; and
+ No clarity or understanding of what gender actually means.

Has resulted in you being triggered and you are now lashing out.
