What, spreading out so far as to not get past the shores of one country?)

Are we still talking about a national comp? So what has it got to do with international. I don't think anyone on this thread has said that AFL have an international game.

They haven't moved an inch in 100 years. (Australian Football that is)

Wrong! They have gone from a VFL to an AFL with teams in SA, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane. I call that progress!

Idiot.

He was barking on about AFL's expansion.

Their expansion isn't based on one comp, it never has been. They had thriving competitions in Perth and Adelaide long before the AFL was started.

And if you had bothered to find out about the history of Australian Rules Football you will find out that they also a pretty fair comp in Sydney going back to only the 1980's. And I'm pretty sure Sean Fagan has mentioned a few times that Australian Rules was strong in Sydney early last century.

Expansion my arse. They've just stuck teams where they've been in the past. At the expense of the local competitions.

Dickhead.

You really do have no idea. Every man and he dog knows how close Australian Rules came to wiping Rugby off the face of the earth in Sydney. Lucky Rugby League saved the day! And Yes I have Sean's books....great read!

You just keep on embarrassing yourself don't you gerbil farmer!

I have worked you out now! Just like John O'Neill full of hot air!

I just do not understand how this poorly qualified man escapes any public scrutiny for the deterioration of rugby league since he has taken over.

1)the under selling of the television rights

2)there should be no exclusive radio deal fullstop.

3)The politically correct agenda when dealing with the "image" of the game. The changes to the rules that allow video ref scrutiny that is ruining the rhythm of the game.
The judiciary has lost credibility.

4) is without doubt the most "REACTIVE" man in the history of the job.
a)warning about shoulder charges after Craig Wings hit is oh so typical of his knee jerk persona.

5)he lacks a distinct vision. Where is rugby league going??

6) he lacks the corporate skills to generate further income for the good of the game.

7)blames the mess of super league for punctuation in growth.

8)has had a good go and its time to move on.

f#ck off Dave.

come on, people.

lets stick to the topic at hand!!

Michelle wrote the first post back during March 2008. Lets hope she's been laid since then and has loosened up a bit - no pun intended....no really, NO pun intended....so lets stick to the topic at hand.

The real question though, is does Dave smoke? Best way to see if he is the right sort of chap to run the NRL!

yeah well even if i did do that - and i don't - i would be starving because people in sydney dont support anything, least of all rl teams.

You need to save yourself b4 you go off trying to save anyone else.

I bet kids find you creepy. No wait!

You are a kid. Shouldnt you be in bed?

There is no guitar called a 'stratcoaster'. Fender, however, have made a very popular model for 60 odd years, called a Stratocaster.

Derrr.

Lying in a gutter with a bottle of Brandivino, smelling of urine with gangrene on your toes is NOT busking.

So you wrote 2 apparently "stinging" remarks.

The first was a mere technicality, but we both know (everyone actually) that you had to look it up on google.com. I know too that you would not have the talent to play guitar. You can barely type, so i find it difficult to see how you could read music, or coordinate both hands at once.

The second comment comes from dark recess of your inmature and quite possibly dark/emo-like imagination. I won't touch it, because it was actually quite sick. It exposes you for who you truly are.

You sad thing. You are pretty pathetic.

Don't have to read music to play guitar. Ask Jimi.

As for a mere technicality -. Like spelling Australia with a 'y'.

Get an education - knob.

Gallop struggling

What must Tevita Latu make of this.
And Brett seymour.

And any other Shark player who has stuffed up and been punted before due process has run it's course.

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au...5-2722,00.html

An excerpt....

Gallop said it was unacceptable that a woman had been hurt and that no one had noticed her predicament.
"To the extent that we can apologise for what happened on Sunday morning we most certainly apologise to the young woman," Gallop said.
"I'm a great believer in you are innocent until proven guilty," he said.
"The incidents involving Cronulla's Greg Bird and Stewart are different. I believe standing down the three Roosters players would set a dangerous precedent and opens up a whole different can of worms.

So..
A women has been assaulted by NRL footballers.
There is no doubt it is them due to witnesses and their own testimony.
Gallop ackowledges fault obviously as he apologises on behalf of the NRL.

But...
He then does a backflip on everything that our club has done and he has supported.

"..a dangerous precedent..."

Surely the precedent has already been set.
