Yeah man, saw them earlier this year when they toured with Confession, first time I'd really heard them and I was in awe.

In about to go indoor soccer so haven't heard it yet, will give it a listen when i get home

For anyone who remembers the hardcore band Embodiment 12:14.....one of Adelaide's / Australia's best hardcore bands a decade back have got together for some reunion shows. Not sure if they are doing a Sydney show but they have plans for Melbourne and have already sold out their Adelaide show.

Just got back from Parkway/Devil Wears Prada. Parkway are pretty incredible live, can't imagine how anyone wouldn't enjoy that sh*t. Loved the crowd surfing oompa loompa's.

Good advice. They've got the support slot for GBH coming up.

A mate of mine started them up then bailed not long after. He used to get around in a mob called Catgut Mary when he was living in Melbourne. Also, the don't get to Sydney so much but anyone in Melbourne, besides me, might be well served by getting along to see The Currency at the Evelyn on October 23. No end of good folk-punk/rock outfits kicking around which is good to see.

Bit of a closet Ska fan here in Brisvegas and as on the wrong side of 40 I don't always have an updated insight as to who is the latest Aussie bands to see / listen to.

Any ideas for me ? Details on any ska website with tour details would also be good.

not sure on any current brisbane ska bands. the last ones I remember were Dr Octopus, Triple 07 & Misfit Mascots.

Aquabats & Reel Big Fish are playing in Bris on Dec 2 tho!!

Glad I didn't end up buying a ticket to Pennywise/Millencolin in Melbourne cos I'll be in your little town to totally have my face torn off! Have never seen the Bronx and have wanted to for years and to see them go on before Social D is gonna be an experience and a half!
