He won't change his stripes over night and I laugh if broncos think they can change him. You can't change a Slimey creep. f**k him off from the NRL. If Ferguson is being looked at by NRL for free sister action then so should barba. The league needs to take a hard line and set an example for pricks like this

What are people supposed to do when the girl specifically stated she would deny it if asked?

"Hi Integrity Unit, we have a situation we need you to look into, here is the person involved"

Integrity unit call girl involved, girl says "Nothing happened, I don't know what you are talking about"

They check with Police, no charges laid and no statement taken.

Now what? Keep investigating?

So Blake misses Origin and however many games for allegedly groping a woman and Barba missed 4 for allegedly punching one. If this is true Todd Greenburg is the ultimate spinner. This was known in some circles but never went public like all the other incidents this year which is a bit of a farce

It's very hard for a club to take action if the victim refuses to make any allegations, and from this report they did all they could for her to make an official complaint to police. Also it isn't right to compare this to Fergo. Barba hasn't been charged with any crime

Hang on, didn't Tevita Latu get de-registered by the NRL for hitting a woman? Fair crack of the sav, if this correct, Barba's got to go too, does he not?

If you believe the report that she will deny it
Then why are they asking the IC to investigate it now if its against her wishes to proceed?
Typical dogs!

They are required to tell the NRL.

Don't you think it's important that someone a bit more independent than the club investigate the circumstances and make sure the victim has had proper counselling and care?

If she doesn't co-operate than fine, however it's not up to the club to make those assumptions.

A public allegation has been made by a newspaper. Of course they will ask for it to be investigated.

When did the integrity unit start up? It was announced on Feb 7 but I can't find anything on when it actually started. If it didn't exist at the time of the allegation then it is a bit hard for the Bulldogs to refer the allegation to them

Completely agree, yet it is never categorically stated that they have not informed the NRL over it. I would be highly surprised if David Smith and others at the NRL had not spoken to Greenburg over this in all their discussions around him coming to the NRL and when standing Barba down

why has it taken 7 months for the dogs to ask the IC to investigate?
If this wasnt made public would it have been swept under the carpet, doggy style?

Lol @ the Dogs, trying to get payback for Barba leaving. Reminds me of the Dugan "dirt dossier" that emerged just after he left the Raiders. What became of that anyway?

If the Bulldogs had already done their investigation and it was complete before the integrity unit was in place why would they refer it?

I would be surprised to, but when it comes to clubs hushing up bad news stories...

We won't have to wait long to find out.

Well, there are investigations, and then there are investigations. Some investigators are more interested in finding what really happened than others.
