Wife has a 1 in 10 chance of winning the Suzuki swift next week.

That's better odds than the Warriors making the 8.

very disappointing..

We're into "mathematical chance" territory now, which usually means no chance.

Everyone Cowboys up is pretty much through, and don't see Melbourne giving up a spot.

Our only hope now is to sneak in ahead of Paramatta on points differential, but they have a very couple of soft games against the Knights and the Raiders. Other option is for Brisbane to blow it.

Eels deserve to be in the 8! we are shite!

Actually, we're still in this.

Sure, could still make the 8. I hope we at least win next week and I can go to the Panthers game with a chance of making the finals. But realistically, there is clearly something wrong with the team to put out that kind of performance. We wouldn't get very far anyway.

Doing the ladder predictor on NRL.com realistically but with us winning our last 2, I still have us finishing in 9th. Most likely the Panthers game wont matter anyway.

TBH I don't see the Warriors winning another game this year. I think after that performance they'll be walking ghost and lose to Titans to the Penrith game doesn't even matter.

That wouldn't surprise me - the other likely option is play ok against the Titans, win and then get owned by the Panthers

comes from almost believing things might change

Well I have to give you credit, spot on again. Thankfully I was driving through the Haast Pass with no radio reception yesterday. Couldn't believe the score when I finally got the 4pm score. Club has a massively soft underbelly.

 not happy about it though! Glad you were in a happier place!

Watch the game though - Lillyman and Friend (watch Johnson chase down Tupou, Friend was so busting his arse to be there)were trying so hard, people will say Tomkins too, and I see that, but still when you miss more tackles than you make there's an issue.

The rest of them were pretty much shit... I see Friend is limited, but if others could make the effort he does each week we'd be going ok.

Good luck OB.

I posted in here on Saturday that I thought we were done for the year. I saw yesterdays debacle coming.

Parramatta & Nth Qld were good enough to topple Manly & Souths. We aren't good enough yet.

Because they are hungry for playoffs footy, and we aren't
Staggering really

The unfortunate reality is that this season has flattered to deceive, we've put away a lot of crap teams in style but the only big victories of note were the Cows in Townsville and Storm at AAMI.

Sure we ran a few good teams close but we really haven't done much to threaten the big boys

We're finishing about where we deserve at the moment.
I hope we at least finish with a flourish to restore some pride

Agree, but there have been strong arguments that the combined genius of Tomkins and McFadden have turned us around... Not sure whether I am a sceptic or a realist (prefer the latter) - but I never saw any compelling evidence of that... Tomkins is not the marque signing he was suggested to be, and tbh we need a signing of that nature, or Lolohea to develop incredibly quickly

The funny thing is, there wasn't much between having a very good season and the average season this is turning out to be.

If we put away Cronulla like we should have & beaten Newcastle like we should have, then we would have been banging on the doors of the top 4 with plenty of momentum and confidence. They are not good sides, if we carried to form we had we would have easily won.

The Roosters game then would have been the real litmus test, not saying we would have won but we certainly would have played a lot better than that pathetic effort. Lets not forget we were basically full strength on paper.

So the big question is, just like last year.. what the hell happened that turned our season to mud so suddenly? McFadden or Tomkins had nothing to do with that.
