There is no 'protection'... The NRL, like any business, has the right to make its decisions.

Expect the broadcasters to play down the cost very hard, and all the way to the very end.

I thought they only got 960ish for their tv rights??? They had to add in the internet and ridiculous contra to make it look so grand!!!
