I thought the storyline with Irish woman was odd. At first I thought Rick was tripping balls again

Not sure how I think barksdale will go. I keep waiting for him to scream that he has dem wmd's or ask where da boy at string.

I quite enjoyed the first episode. Given the preview for next week looks like an all in shit-storm, it needed to establish a status quo to be disrupted. Plenty of new faces to act as fodder, but I do hope they keep a few around.

I daresay DeAngelo Barksdale, Tyreese's new squeeze, and possibly one or two others will make it out. Was disappointed to see Beth's boy go so quickly, but that's what the show does.

Some bloody good zombie action too. I really enjoyed the shopping mall scene.

Have a look at the zombie that gets an unusually long close up for no apparent (at the time) reason at the start when Rick is out doing some gardening.

Whatever that guy died from has now been brought to the prison.
