Best TV series ever made.
Watched all seasons at least 5 times and could watch it all another 10 times.
Every time I seem to pick up on little things that I may have missed.

If you're a fan of 'The Wire' check out a 6 part mini series called 'The Corner'. Made by the same writers and focuses more directly on the drug scene. A lot more raw but just as good as The Wire imo.

I got the whole series from JB Hi Fi for 60 bucks. I lent it to my friend and my sister so they could understand why it's so awesome.

My friend went on about this scene for 3 weeks after he saw it, no joke.

I think my favourite character would have to be Omar, and I really started liking Bodey got good in his last season lol. Really rated Snoop too.

Bodie, Weebay, Avon, Omar were my favourites.
Not a fan of Marlo's crew but that's cause I'm a Barksdale fan lol...still great roles in the show though.
Wonder which crew would have won the turf war if Barksdale's crew was at full strength?
Really felt sorry for Dukie at the end too seeing him on the needle..

I'm not sure there'd be many people who wanted Marlo to beat Barksdale but Snoop was damn amusing.

Barksdale's crew would never have gone after Butch or kill that delivery chick just to try to set up Omar. I just couldn't see Chris or Marlo as humans, it was hard to find another layer to their characters, that said I freaken hated Stringer too.

What happened to Randy made me more sad than what happened to Dukie, probably because Dukie started annoying me in the fifth season.

I have to say the 4th season was probably by far my favourite.

I think I started to understand Chris more when it was hinted at that he was molested.

Snoop was such a good character, it's a shame she is in trouble again in real life, she's naturally talented.

1st and 3rd seasons were probably my favorite, but its really too hard to say one was clearly better than the others.
I thoroughly enjoyed every season and they all introduced interesting new characters (well maybe not so much the media guys but that wasn't that bad).
Snoop was one scary bitch, and you're right about Chris. Definitely think he was molested after his actions when he figured out why Michael wanted him to take care of his father.

I got the same impression about Chris, but he was just too cold not to hate.

Yeah what happened to Snoop irl sucked but she was never going to be in demand as an actress sadly. The industry is not one which necesssarily rewards talent.

The middle three could all move around, but 4 is my favourite and 5 my least favourite.

5 is still better than 99% of shows though.

McNulty pissing off his old boss with the first girl in season 2 was brilliant, as was Marlo in court (may have been s1) but other than that 2 wasn't as good as the other series.

Nearly finished s4 and enjoying it greatly.

Probably prefer breaking bad though. Close call.
