You are such a drama queen. Tried to rip a guys head off for no apparent reason ?? Come off it, I'm sure if Tahu TRIED to rip the guys head off he would've successfully done it. It was a type of fight you see in NRL all the time ( WTF would you say about o'donnel in origin? ) He didn't whinge about the coach he merely stated he backed the board and that even though he wasn't 100% the coach was adamant that he should play. That is stating facts and not WHINGING. I read the letter you wrote earlier on and I think youre seriously overreacting. ATM we know that all this is 'alleged'nothing has been proven to have happened, so how can you want Tahu to be sacked over something which might not have occurred ? As far as im concerned , he has not dragged our club through the dirt , it's the media that have dragged him through it by constantly putting him in the spotlight ever since he dared to stand up for what he believed in.

I never thought I'd see an ostrich with his head in the sand next to The Nile................

Tahu please stay away from the f**kn media u goose, especially weidler!!!!

On te contrary, if he didnt do anything, he needs to be out there saying it.

Mind you, an exclusive Weidler interview simply means Weidler harrasing Tahu getting out of his car after dropping the kids off at school and Tahu ignoring Weidler

Tahu said on 9 news he didn't say it. Case closed.
The same Tahu who said he wasn't leaving Newcastle for Parra and the same Tahu who said Rugby Union is a game he never wanted to play and the same Tahu who said he wasn't off to Union and the same Tahu that said he wasn't leaving Union for Parra.
Did Tahu ever get paid for the missed Origin match? If so did he return the money?

so I take it he's guilty??

Maybe not, Stagger; but what scenario seems more likely?
Either the father and the sponsor (who manages a medical center) and the captain and vice-captain of the footy team all made it up, OR Tahu actually said it?

so is the guy a doctor or property manager?

The father has already admitted he didnt hear it.

Suppose they all heard it.....where is the formal complaint?

It happened on the weekend - why does it take until Thursday for it to come out, and then, through the media?

Maybe Tahu said, or maybe he didnt and this is a massive get square because this game got heated and Timana, because of the stand he took last year has a massive target on his back.

I know if I had a 16 year old son, who copped abuse from an NRL player like this kid has, racial or not, I wouldnt waste anytime in macking a formal complaint that day rather than waiting a few days and being in the paper

its hard to imagine he'd do it - but its also hard to imagine someone would just make it up

from the article, it looks like tahu was on the angry pills over teh weekend .... I wonder some some upstart amateurs see such an event as a chance to try and show up some big names and get into a bit of niggle???

maybe the kid was being a c***??? - and maybe tahu is realising sometimes you say a descriptive word to go with it without actually having a tremendously villifying undercurrent .... who knows?

i'd like to trust tahu - but i'm finding it increasingly difficult to be blindly supportive of the guy these days ..... i'll give him the benefit of the doubt - and I'll certainly believe even if he said it, it doesn't necessarily make you the devil

You make some good points there. The thing that worries me is that once again Tahu was overly aggressive. Now correct me if I`m wrong, but I don`t remember him being this angry before he went over to Union or when he played with Newcastle. This seems to be out of character for him; which would make me think that Boxhead is probably right - he might have some mental health issues happening for him. I hope, if this is true, that he gets it sorted, because his behaviour seems to be getting increasingly dangerous.

The only way it can be proved is if a) Tahu admits it b) there is video/sound recording evidence or c) there are witnesses and it appears there are witnesses.

It is not just tahu's word against some 16 year old kids. There are 4 other adults who have gone on RECORD stating it happened. The fact that he was involved in a scuffle, got sin binned and appeared to have been on the angry pills all tournament isn't goin to help his cause

Tahu is in serious trouble over this and if he did it he owes an apology to the kid, every indigineous Australian, andrew johns, parramatta, nsw and his own kids (as that is why he made his original stand).

In my opinion, it seems highly unlikely that four people would just make this up out of thin air. But, to put this into some perspective; one aboriginal person calling another aboriginal person a 'black merkin' is not anywhere near as offensive as a white person saying it to an aboriginal person. It just isn`t the same thing at all.

TBH, had he never made that stance against Joey's loose comments, this never would have been a big deal and I would have cared less.
But for him to take a stance like that and then to come out and say this, even if it was just a little niggle, is pretty big. Now i'm no drama queen to go and make a big deal over racism, it just that if it is indeed true, then Australia as a whole needs to look at Joey's unfortunate demise with an apologetic gesture, he definitely didn't deserve that drama if this is the person that Tahu really is.

It`s COMPLETELY different when a white person says that to an aboriginal person. If you aren`t sure why, just go and ask an aboriginal elder.

if this was supposed to have been on the field, it is unlikely that the 4 heard it. It seems funny to me that the sponsor and captain and vice were the only ones to hear it. If it was around people why was it only the officials and not just any joe blogg.
