How can he not train hard like everyone else and get selected?

That's wrong and club shouldnt allow him to play..

Australia's biggest loser is advertising for contestants - I say we sign up Wicks - and if he needs a partner we could send Vuna as well.

I'm just guessing. But, it sounds like if Wicks just did the Knights training he would lose more weight then going on the biggest loser.

I hope Wicks wakes up this off season, gotta realize he has to do the hard work and he could EASILY be the first front rower selected in origin.

Here's hoping, although i'm not holding my breathe after having Perry for 5 years.

The winner of the last Biggest Loser (Sam Rouen) was at the Raiders game yesterday was talking before the game. I wanted Wicks to have a meeting with him.

Wicks is just lucky that we weren't wearing the Grey away uniforms yesterday, because the grey uniforms make his figure look even worse

A lot of confusion in this thread. Suggesting there were five changes and a complete tactical upheaval is misleading. Two of the omissions were forced: Doogs and Taufua. Dropping Dureau was a significant change compared to last week but not in the context of the last month. We hadn't had the Dureau/Mullo combo start a game for quite a while prior to the Titans, and we were doing well. We had the game against the Eels more than won before Dureau came on the field; and when Dureau played against Souths, Mullo was out and Gids more or less played 5/8th.

People are being harsh on Cross imho. The only two major changes from what we have had over the past month that didn't work out and were within Smith's control were an underdone Royal and an overweight Wicks. White and Ciraldo would probably have been better choices but I doubt they would have made all that much difference.

We did suffer big time from having our two most experienced centres out. If Naiqama was available to play I would put his omission down as a bigger mistake by the coach than the other stuff. We needed to shore-up our backline defence anyway we could with Doogs out. Vuna was always going to be a massive risk in the centres.

Tolar has been non-existant this year and you know it.

He was a waste of space yesterday yet you still gave him a point.

What exactly did he do that was so special?
That's bullsh!t and you know it. Like I said Cross (your best mate) has done nothing more than any of them this year.

No, it's not bullsh*t. He was pathetic. He left Cross to do all the work for him. 64 metres from your starting prop is just embarassing in a game like that. He could've stuck his hand up and done a job but he shirked it. Even Wicks had more of a go in attack than him.

Tolar averages 70 metres and 19 tackles a game this year. That's crap. Yet you still sing his praises.

Cross averages over 100 metres and 24 tackles a game. He does a sh*tload more than Tolar, even underdone.

Cross is far from my best mate. But whilst you continue to bag him for having a go when no one else will, I'll continue to defend him.

You said Tolar has been non existant this year, That is crap, he's been the best forward on field in plenty of games. I reckon Tolar just might have had his averages over a few more games than Crossy as well. I'm not bagging him by the way I'm saying he has been ordinary for us when he's played, and he has. Yep Tolar has been ordinary as well so has White, we don't have any stand out front rowers, but I'd have any of those three ahead of lard arse Wicks any day. My beef is with the dropping of White and the selection of Wicks. You can read anything else you like into my posts. I don't have any hate with Cross, they were other peoples words not mine.

Like I said before (in case you missed it.)
Definition of Ordinary
Oxford Dictionary :- Regular, Normal, customary, usual, not exceptional, not above the usual, commonplace.
