Begging to be beaten? That was an extremely high quality and intense game. Benji kicked out on the full once every game, dont think it was a choke. The choke was beau Ryan grubbering on the second tackle after we'd just made a 50m bust downfield with 30 seconds to go.

The dragons were begging to be beaten a week later when they put in probably their worst half of the year in the grand final and the chooks only lead them by 2

Drags were very nervous in semi and should have been finished off. Solid defense but pedestrian attack. Good game but Tigers blew it. Comp window closed, or maybe after our choke again vs warriors.

As for the GF, agree. If a team other then Easts were rightly there, it would have been 30 nil at half time.

The dragons were pedestrian in attack for 3 years under Bennett. They won on the back of defence and sowards kicking game. The tigers dragons 2010 semi was one of the best ever grand final qualifiers, both teams played amazingly well, dragons were just slightly more polished and deserved the win IMO

Parramatta winning the minor premiership by the biggest margin in league history, walking over the Warriors in week one of the finals and then being put to the sword by Andrew Johns in a virtuoso performance in the 2001 grand final.

Parramatta winning the minor premiership and being rolled by the Cowboys 29-zip in the Preliminary final in 2005.

Parramatta blowing a massive half time lead in the 1999 prelim against Melbourne, the 1998 prelim against the Bullfilth and again against brisbane in 2000.

If there was ever a team of paper champions it was Parramatta.

I'd hardly consider 10 points a "massive lead" at halftime against Melbourne.
We still should have won though.

The 1998 one is the worst game I've ever experienced. Massive choke.
The 2005 one a close second.

Brisbane were Minor Premiers (Parra finished 8th) and were up 12-0 at halftime in the 2000 game. Not a choke by Parra in any sense of the word. We did well to only go down by 6 in the end. Great game despite the loss.

In the history of sport in my time it would have to be Te recent loss to NZ by USA in the last America's cup. Before that I would agree Norman.
