yeh but they'd have to drop their price to about 15 mill, its apparently about 30mill atm but there seems to be some confusion over the conversion rate of their money to euros, some people are saying its only 17mill euros which make is possible

as with most transfer windows there is always the bullshit factor so hard to know what to believe

except for the result,

fist time Friedel has f**ked up but the whole team looked pretty flat actually

missed a huge opportunity to gain on second spot but still got our game in hand

I'm also hearing that Cahill wants to come to Spurs and he still hasn't signed with Chavs as yet, we signed him last window but we were 5 mins late and missed out so it seems he was of the opinion we'd go back and sign him this window but we wont be getting involved in a bidding war.

He doesn't want to go to Chel$ki

We wanted him when King was broken but I'm not so sure now.

More talk about Leandro too.

Someone on that site thinks Levy is going to go all out for Pato.
How?
Isn't he going to PSG? How could we afford him?

that guys ITK is only about 50% right, he's a journalist in the English press, say no more

Pato is too good for the French League, and it all depends on Milan getting Tevez. There could be something there.

It would no doubt be a loan till a deal can be done assuming there is any truth, I wouldn't get too excited unless a few of the others close to the club can back it up.

I pretty much ignored it when I saw it this morning.

Who knows, transfer windows are always a jolly good time.
Crazy too.
If we could get any player of that quality up front or on the wing I think every Spurs fan in the world would be hyper-ventilating.

it still appears that Leandro is our top target but everything depends on getting Dos Santos, Pienaar, Pav and Corluka out

there is a lot of interest in Dos Santos, Corluka and Pienaar but as usual they dont meet Dan the Man's valuation

Well if we moved all of them on at a decent revenue we should be able to afford a few good replacements, frankly we should go all out for Leandro and Hoilett and maybe sign a young, decent fullback for cover. We are fine in centre-defence and centre-midfield, we do need a quality back-up striker and winger at minimum plus another fullback.

the most likely defender to come in is the German one, dont think harry rates Samba and Levy defo doesn't like his valuation (15mill), no doubt Chavs will eventually convince Cahill as they'll just throw more money at him

Agreed. Samba or Cahill would be good but both are probably too expensive to be viable targets. I hope the German player is a right-sided fullback.

He's a CH but I dont think he is a priority unless we can pick him up for about €6 mill or so.

Dawson is back full training and Harry has big plans for Caulker so I'm not sure we need more than a squad player that may fill in for Bassong assuming he's out and can play FB as well.

That's funny, Vertonghen was mentioned a lot before, pretty funny that someone would confuse him with a German player. He's primarily a LCB, he'd be more than a mere squad player I think.
Very good player.

Teams news courtesy of the Spurs Facebook page;
As expected, Scott Parker drops out through injury, with Jermain Defoe starting.
Sadly, Ledley King and Aaron Lennon won't be making their return for this game, and Michael Dawson has been removed from the bench.
The formation we are expected to play is more our classic 4-4-2 with VDV presumably on the right wing and Defoe behind Adebayor.

COYS!

David Moyes is at the ground, game hasn't started and already looks a bit depressed!
WBA very much under-strength, sadly.

My god I am SICK of this camera angle at White Hart Lane! Has made watching the games so much less enjoyable
