I would much prefer Damiao or Cavani than Tevez. What are the price tags on Cavani and Damiao?

dunno about Cavani, Leandro will probably be around 18-20 euros I would think

Wouldn'nt mind Hoillet, gee he gave us some trouble on the weekend, he can beat a player, everyone at Blackburn is for sale they are in a ton of shit atm

pretty sure we will, as long as we can get some one to meet our valuation, we got plenty of money but Levy is a hard bastard to deal with

if he doesn't agree on valuations, he wont touch them

pretty sure Pav will be off so we need to find some one before we let him go

I'm sorry Twiz but avoid Hoillet at all costs which I think we will, that performance he put in against us on the weekend is about the knly thing I've seen him done in 2-3 years. I'm still confident of a leandro deal

Samba and Leandro would be perfect.
If we had those two in the team, who misses out? VDV can't play off the bench, but he shouldn't be at right midfield.
I'm assuming whichever striker we are looking at is either to form a partnership with Adebayor or with VDV and put Adebayor on the bench?

Example;
Friedel
Walker
Dawson/King
Samba
Assou-Ekotto
Lennon/VDV
Modric
Parker/Sandro/Huddlestone
Bale
VDV/Leandro
Leandro/Adebayor

I think our best line up would be

Friedel
Walker Kaboom King Benny
Parker Sandro
VDV Modric Bale
Ade

Thats our best midfield and pretty hard to penetrate, we only have one decent striker so no point in playing 2 imo.

As we know Harry loves to play a 442 in the EPL so that line up will never happen.

I'd agree with that.

I saw on Spurs' Facebook that Thudd is growing an Afro for charity :)

 The 'Huddlefro'
He won't cut it now till he scores a goal!

VDV scores for the 5th game in a row, not too shabby

2 to Bale who is starting to find his feet, likewise Lennon, Amazing game from Parker he was everywhere.

Currently level on points with Chel$ki with a game in hand

Was good to see that when the match was at 2-1 we actually did something about it and scored instead of just defending for our lives. Whats the go with Sandro now?

injured himself slightly about 2 weeks back, I expect he'll play Europa on Thursday and we'll rest Parker

I stayed up to watch the game - I paid the price by waking up at 3pm
We were very good, VDV has already scored 12 in all competitions for us this season according to the PL site, but I don't know where the other six goals have come from. He's looking like the best buy we've made in years.
Nice to see Bale get a double, Lennon was off the pace but did well to set Bale up both times.
Parker is a machine!

Tottenham Hotspur's billionaire owner shows interest in investing in A-League's Central Coast Mariners

The billionaire owner of Barclays Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur has emerged as a possible investor in Central Coast Mariners.

Joe Lewis, the Barbados-based businessman listed as the 347th richest man on the planet by Forbes magazine, sent a representative from his Tavistock Group to inspect the Mariners a fortnight ago.

Several business were visited by the representative while Down Under, but Central Coast Mariners were the only sporting organisation.
It is understood the representative did not attend an A-League game, but given a tour of the club's training and administration facilities.
The Mariners had recently been plagued by cash-flow problems, which included some players and staff being forced to pay their own way to Brisbane for last season's A-League grand final.
A club spokesman confirmed they were in talks with several potential investors, but would not confirm if the Tavistock Group was one of those parties.

"We can confirm we are in discussions with a number of potential investors," a club spokesman said.
"With our centre of excellence project and well-established brand, that combination has presented a unique football business that is attracting interest both locally and internationally."
The Tavistock Group already has interests in Australia, which led to the hit-and-run visit by one of Lewis' representatives.
While any such deal is far from across the line, Mariners officials are delighted by the golden chance to push their case.

We have a billionaire owner? I knew we were owned by a huge investment company - that's where Levy comes in.
Hmmm.....I think it's a good thing he isn't playing the sugar daddy role. Levy's tight hold over our finances might irk some, but I'm happy with that.

We're owned by ENIC, a public company, who own about 71% of Spurs

Joe Lewis and Dan the Man own ENIC. Daniel Levy is CEO of Spurs

Joe is a pom who lives in Barbados
